~Avenger's POV~

"It's got to be perfect, we're making this her official birthday!" Pepper exclaims around the room to the Avengers who were currently decorating the party deck with balloons, banners and everything in between much to their dismay but the idea was amazing and they couldn't argue with it. It was currently November 7th and Y/n was much better practically back to her old self and the Avengers used the time she was ill to get to planning the perfect surprise for someone who had never got to experience proper Midgardian traditions nor did they know anything about themselves. 

"Pepper relax, she's going to love it even if we just gave her a single beer and a 'Happy Dedicated Birthday!'" Pepper slaps Tony for his comment who just continues with the task she had given her while she got back to checking over everything, currently Loki had the job of distracting Y/n by taking her out for the day to central park and Jane suggested they took Modi with them in order to get this process done with quicker with less distractions. 

"They'll be home in an hour and thirty minutes so we can't stop at all, come on people we're doing this for an ex Hydra Captive!" Pepper called and Sam leaned down to whisper something to Bucky.

"I wander how Y/n would feel about that one." this earned them a glare from Pepper so they continued with their job, everyone incredibly busy with something and if you weren't then Pepper would find you something to do. Peter was given the job of using his web fluid to stick the ceiling decorations down which made perfect sense to everyone all some of them had to do was pass him the ends that were to be stuck to the ceiling, everyone agreed Peter had to be kept busy since he was acting like an over excited puppy. 

Everyone had been out during Y/n's illness to get her something to show how much they appreciated her, they were all sceptical pf her when they first met her until they understood the situation she was forced in and they all agreed then to ultimately protect her and love her at all costs. So everyone decided today wasn't just important for her but for them as well, they wanted her to accept the day they were dedicating as her birthday since it would be a while if ever she would find out about her actual birthday but they decided it was more meaningful to be given a new birthday by a new family that would make sure to care for her.

"Alright, I think we're all done with the jobs you had given us Pepper." Nat was the last one to finish her job to which they all stepped back and were perfectly happy with how everything looked, they weren't going to have a big party for this one but instead Peter invited his girlfriend and Ned. Dr Strange was invited since he had met Y/n once or twice and they conversed magic and books a lot maybe even more than her and Loki did, so when they asked Strange he was happy to. Clint's family had come over since his wife had many conversations with Y/n over the phone about anything and everything usually ways to trick Clint or prank him which Laura was happy with doing. 

"How long until they come back?" 

"Thirty-ish minutes so we can all get changed and be up here with our gifts before they are due home." everyone nods at Pepper before dispersing to go get ready.

~Loki's POV~

"Come on I do not coddle Modi." right now we were on a walk back through central park slowly since we wanted to start making our way back to Avengers tower.

"Dove, she's spent more time in your arms than in her own mother's. Even more than mine and I'm the Uncle." which was true since she had been carrying Modi everywhere ignoring the stroller completely which I was pushing around aimlessly.

"That makes me her Auntie, so it isn't coddling." we were now walking out of central park with Y/n still carrying Modi as we made small talk on our way to Avengers tower getting back for the exact time Pepper had given me, I was on board with the Avenger's decision today since I knew it would make Y/n the happiest maybe even cry slightly. She always told me she wished she had a more normal life before us and giving her a birthday would make that wish come even slightly more true. Pretty soon we were heading up the elevator after I had alerted Friday we were on our way up and Y/n was too focused on Modi to care what else was going on until we reached the party deck and we stepped one foot out of the elevator before Y/n jumped.
