"Hi, everyone," Taehyun greeted as he lastly hugged Hueningkai. "Thank you all for coming."
"We wouldn't miss it for the world, Tae," Soobin said with a smile as he sat down next to Yeonjun.
"The twins look so cute," he cooed.
Taehyun smiled, and he looked at Hyejin and Hyun. He dressed Hyejin in a pale yellow dress with matching socks, a sunflower headband in her raven hair. He dressed Hyun in a pale red bodysuit and creamy white baby pants, matching socks on his tiny feet. Taehyun brushed his brown bangs down his forehead, and the two were cooing in his arms.
"Thanks, hyung," he said proudly as he sat down next to his parents, letting the twins sit on his lap. "They barely woke up from their nap, so I was quick to dress them."
"You did a good job, Tae," Huening said softly. "Beomgyu-hyung would've been proud."
Taehyun tensed up at Beomgyu's name, and everyone didn't fail to notice. Luckily, Soobin's father was quick to change the subject, and Taehyun shot him a thankful glance. Everyone started eating, and they talked whilst they ate their Thanksgiving feast. Dessert was soon served, and they continued eating. When everyone was done, most of them got up and headed toward the Great Hall. Taehyun's parents took the twins with them, so only Yeonjun and Taehyun were left.
"The food was really good," Yeonjun commented, breaking the silence between them. He patted his flat stomach as if he was pregnant. "I think I have a food baby inside of me now."
Taehyun only managed to let out a barely tiny smile. "Y-yeah."
Yeonjun noticed Taehyun's somber mood. "You okay, Tae?"
The silver-haired male looked at Yeonjun, tears welling up in his eyes. "H-how can you ask that, hyung?"
"Is this about...Beomgyu?"
"It always is about him!" Taehyun exclaimed, slamming his hand down on the table. "I-I just can't believe he's gone."
"It's been seven months," Yeonjun reminded. "he's dead, taehyun. get over it."
Taehyun couldn't believe Yeonjun was saying this, but he didn't feel like being a bitch right now. "i don't think i ever will, hyung."
Even if the years pass by, and Taehyun becomes old with white hair and wrinkles, he still doesn't think he'll ever get over Beomgyu. Beomgyu was his first love, his first everything. Sure, they hated each other, but their parents were right—with the marriage, their hatred turned into love.
Taehyun just wishes they had more days with each other.
However, it seems as if Taehyun doesn't have to try to move on from Beomgyu anymore.
The said male now has pink hair, and his long hair is fortunately still here. He's standing right in front of Taehyun, his clothes ripped and worn out, dirt covering his skin, clothes, and hair, and he's panting as if he just ran a twenty-mile marathon.
