"Do you think he's okay?"
"Damn, he's really pregnant with twins ."
"Oh, shoot, he's waking up."
Taehyun's eyes slowly flutter open, and they land on three shadows looming over him. As he continues blinking, his vision clears, and he recognizes those three shadows as Yeonjun, his mother-in-law, and the medic.
"Tae, you okay?" Yeonjun asks.
"I-I'm fine," Taehyun replies, a bit groggily. He sits up with the help of Beomgyu's mom. "I-I just had the weirdest dream."
His mother-in-law glances at Yeonjun and the medic. "U-uh, what type of dream did you have, sweetie?"
Taehyun chuckles, shaking his head at himself. "Th-that I was pregnant with twins." He scoffs at himself, wondering why he had such a crazy dream, even though it felt realistic. He gets silence as a response, so he looks up, finally realizing that the other three look nervous, and glancing at each other nervously. "W-what?"
"Your Majesty...you are pregnant with twins," the medic says, a bit hesitantly. "I-it wasn't a crazy dream. You passed out when I marked the second baby as 'Baby B'. You are indeed pregnant with twins, Your Majesty."
Taehyun's heart drops, but he doesn't know if it's for a good or bad reason. Here he was, worrying about being pregnant with a baby, but now he's pregnant with two . What are the odds of that?
"O-oh my god." Taehyun brushes his bangs back, millions of thoughts swarming around in his head. "I-I'm really pregnant. And with twins ."
"Hey, Tae, you'll be okay," Yeonjun says softly. "We all know Beom will be more than happy to take care of those babies with you because he's just amazing like that. Just be glad you two still don't hate each other."
"Even if he did still hate you, he would've still stayed to take care of you," Beomgyu's mom chimes in. "Especially since you're carrying his babies. If you were carrying another man's baby, then old Beomgyu probably wouldn't, but now you two love each other, so you have nothing to worry about, Taehyun. And if Beom somehow doesn't want the baby, you still have me, Yeonjun, Soobin, Kai, my husband, and your parents. We're all here to support you, Taehyun."
The silver-haired male smiles, his eyes watery. "Th-thank you, Ma."
"Of course," she says, placing a kiss on his forehead. As she pulls away, Taehyun can see tears glistening in her eyes. "And now you're pregnant with my first grandbabies."
After they cry a bit more, the medic explains to Taehyun everything he needs to know for his pregnancy. He can't drink alcohol, smoke, or do drugs, which Taehyun never did in the first place and never wants to do, and can't drink that much caffeine. The medic also says that his morning sickness won't stop until his second or third month, which makes Taehyun groan. The medic continues and says that since Taehyun is pregnant with two babies instead of one, his stomach will grow a lot bigger than normal and that when he goes into labor, he'll have to push out two babies instead of one.
