Leila woke up at midnight, she groaned realizing she forgot to wash her hair before going to sleep and now it would look bad in the morning for her music class. She threw the covers off her and made her way to the bathroom, taking her tablet with her. Everyone was sleep and her parents bedroom door was locked and their air conditioning was on. She was glad because now they couldent hear she was awake. Locking herself in the bathroom she put on The vampire diaries. She had already watched the show, but it was just way too good. Just like Teen wolf. She brushed her teeth and did her skin care routine.
Then as she sat in the floor of the bathroom, the darkness surrounding her, she started to sob.
Damon had died and was now in the other side with Bonny and Elena was crying, she had watched it a million times before but it always got to her. She sobbed as she watched Elena forget all her memories of Damon. But she was actually plain mad at her. Damon was just too good to forget him.
Then suddenly she looked at the time and realized it was 4 in the morning she grimaced and started watching the show again, but this time nervous, and once the show ended, she turned the tablet off and sneaked back into her bedroom. In the morning she would be so tired. She grinned in the darkness remembering that she was going to see Gerard today. And without her noticing. She fell asleep.
She was woken up in the morning by Wilson shaking her awake, he seemed pissed off at her from yesterday and Leila was glad because she was angry at him too.
"Its already 7:30 get up" he told her harshly.
Leila turned to face him with a scowl on her face.
"I'm up, get out" she answered her voice groggy from sleep. She was tired but less tired than expected.
Wilson didn't make any move to go out of her room so Leila stood up and took her towel, entering the bathroom. She really liked being in the bathroom because everyone had to live her alone whether they liked it or not. Leila decided to wash her hair as she took a quick bath. Once out and draped in a towel, she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her brown hair was on her back and she could plainly see she had dark circles below her eyes. Nothing make-up couldn't hide.
Once again in her room she changed into an oversized baby blue shirt and some mom jeans.
She opened her closet door in which hung a mirror and put on concealer, mascara and blush. She stepped away and admired her work.
She looked almost good; except she had a little bruise in her cheek from the slap William had given her the other night. Well, nothing could be done about that. She brushed her hair down and dried it, which made her hair curl softly at the end. She didn't doubt that it would poof over but she didn't have time for that. Her first class started at 8:30 and it was already 8:15
She pulled on her dark blue converses and her backpack swinging it into her shoulder.
Outside William was making breakfast and Wilson was telling tyler to clean his side of the room. But Tyler being Tyler didn't want to. Sometimes Leila wondered what the boy did with his life.
"Breakfast is ready" William called from the kitchen and Leila stepped inside.
"Morning" she said lowly, keeping her head slightly down, taking her sandwich from the counter where it was served in a plate, she thanked him but William didn't listen, instead he went to tell the boys to stop fighting.
It was 30 minutes later that they arrived to the music class, Tyler and Wilson hadn't been ready yet, and William made them have a family devotional before stepping out of the house. Leila's mind wondered as they sang and William read the bible. She had nothing against church, against God. But the way her father had made them believe in God and worship Him, she didn't like. Since a child she had always imagined God as Aslan, the lion from The chronicles of Narnia. She had liked to imagine that he would always arrive and save her. But he never did. And that hurt her.
