Chishiya x Reader

„You are not supposed to love in the borderlands", well.. Thats what the platinum blonde said when he first entered the this gruesome place. You remember the first time you saw him, two thick strands hanging loose, the rest being tucked behind his ears. These dark brown orbs glancing at you, almost mockingly. His first impression made you think that he was a ignorant and judging person, through the games you got the chance to get to know him better, and it was worth it. Chishiya Shuntarō, the man who cant love, or, thats what other people told you. But they had no idea, indeed, he can love, the amount of people he loves is strictly limited, limited to one person. And that one person is you.

„Chishi!." you yelled through the room as you made your way to join your boyfriend, who was resting on the bed.
His eyes were closed, not for long tho, as soon as he heard your voice, his gaze fell onto you.
You placed yourself onto his lap, which was usually a sign that you wanted something from him.

„Hmm?.", he replied with his numb voice. Nothing new, his voice was always like that. Cold but not in a bad way.

„You know i love you very much.. And-"
You tried to start this conversation since your wish wasn't really.. easy to handle.
He cut you off and asked straight forward.

„What do you want from me?.", He frowned a bit and began to stroke your hair.

„I want a baby.."
You spoke and felt yourself getting nervous.

„Absolutely not", he didn't even hesitate to say this, you knew that he disliked children but the baby fever of yours got worse every second. His eyes shut again, his arms crossed as you were resting on top of him.

„First off, we aren't in the best situation to be in right now. Second, Hatter wouldn't be to happy to find out about your pregnancy. Third off, babies are annoying, do nothing but cry, scream.. and, they're a lot of work.."

„But.."

„Besides, the only fun things about babies is making them..~"
Slowly, a mischievous smirk appeared on his face.
You froze and tried to process what you just heard.

„Shuntarō Chishiya!"
You tried to yell but give in and chuckled.

„Well.. Fine, maybe we can try to plan for a baby. Not in the borderlands tho, you need to stay patient. Wait until we are back home and then we can talk about it again. Well, how about a cat or a dog at first?. I think it might be easier. And, i have enough work to do.. You are like a baby sometimes.. complaining, crying but.. theres a difference, you're cute.. Or at least, likeable."

„Awhh.. Did you just admit that im cute? I didn't expect to hear something like that from you"
You were the one smirking now, trying any possible way to tease him.

„Shh. I wont say things like that often,  so enjoy it."
He pulled you closer, you did as he said. Enjoyed this moment since he was rarely that affectionate with you.

„Oh, i am.."
You said, as he nuzzled your neck. Causing you to smile and gently caress the back of his head.
You can imagine him as a dad, the way he's spoiling your baby with snacks, the way he would let the baby sleep in his arms, he was never heartless or ignorant. He accepted every choice you did, expect they were dangerous or could harm you in any way. He's protective but wont and will never show it. He already told you once
„I don't think i would be a good father", but no matter what, you refused to believe him.
He is the dad, many children can only dream of. Your baby will be so lucky to have him.
„I never wanna be like my father", he told you almost every month.
„You are better, far better than him", was your only answer. You've heard about some childhood stories, he experienced. You will forever be proud of him. The borderlands taught you, its okay to express how you actually feel, and Chishiya definitely also did learn some things here. His cold and numb state is permanently, but that exactly what you adore. During the borderlands, he helped you with any mental struggles, issues and problems. You're always ready to do the same.
The idea of a baby will definitely be a bigger subject to talk about  in the future and you cant wait for it to happen.
All of these thoughts made  you a bit emotional, your left eye now letting out a tear, which is being soaked in Chishiya's white jacket.

„I love u", you whispered, before falling asleep and dreaming about having a family with your boyfriend. Including a baby, a kitty or a puppy, possibly both..

He placed a soft kiss on the top of your head, before he fell asleep with you in his embrace.
