Lucy rubbed at her tired eyes as Tim parked the truck in the station's parking lot. With a yawn, she reached for the coffee mug in the center console, and while she took a sip, she heard him say, "That's mine!"

She winced as the bitterness of the black coffee coated her mouth. "I thought this was my coffee," she grumbled.

"No, you didn't bring any. I poured this into my mug."

Sleepily, Lucy inspected the travel mug in her hands and pointed out, "This is MY mug. You took it from MY house."

"We share this mug," he countered and pulled the cup out of her hand.

"Okay, then you're sharing this coffee with me." She took the mug back and gulped down a little more coffee, which was still terrible due to the lack of sugar or oat milk. "Seriously this tastes awful."

"Then, stop drinking it."

"I need the caffeine thanks to you."

"From what I remember, you weren't complaining last night. You actually kept saying yes yes yes..."

Lucy blushed and waved a hand for him to stop talking. "Fine, but now I desperately need coffee." After taking one more sip, she made a sound of disgust causing Tim to shake his head.

"Stop drinking my coffee. We're right outside the station. When we get inside, you can make your ridiculously sugary concoction you call coffee," he promised and took the mug bag before taking a swig.

"You know what my favorite kind of coffee is?"

"Chai tea latte," he answered simply.

She shook her head slightly and leaned over to suck on his bottom lip, which still tasted like the strong black coffee, but it was mixed with the taste of Tim. "Mmm my favorite," she whispered against his mouth.

He snickered but did not move away. "We're at work," he reminded her.

"I know, but I also know that I might need something a little stronger than coffee to wake me up."

Tim felt his heart pick up speed as he watched her eyes darken. "We're at work," he repeated.

"We've done it before."

"Lucy..."

"Your office locks," she reminded him and traced lines on his chest with her pointer finger. He still did not seem convinced, so she added, "It's the least you can do for taking MY coffee mug."

"I guess...since I borrowed your coffee cup," his lips stretched into a mischievous smile.

Lucy made a happy noise and jumped out of the truck, suddenly feeling energized. Tim tried to follow her casually upstairs towards his office, but he could not help the swift speed at which he moved. She dragged him inside, locking the door quickly before pressing him against the door. Once he was caught between the door and her body, Lucy surged up to kiss him for a few minutes before pulling away to say, "So, you admit it's my mug."

Before Tim could even register what she had said, her mouth was on his again, and he was willing to end their bickering in favor of kissing Lucy.

Though the debate over the true owner of the coffee mug had been put to bed, they still struggled to differentiate between what was his and what was hers.

Lucy took Kojo on a hike and took a picture of him at a lookout point. She posted the photo with the caption:
