Elias sat under a tree, watching weird looking birds with 4 wings jumping and flying around. His mind felt empty.

He knew Luca only said that to pay back for trying to mess with him, but... "I thought you noticed", was what he said to Liz.

If there was anything to be noticed he was right: His feelings for him would have been quite obvious.

On the other hand he acted this flirty with almost anyone, so did it really mean anything at all?

Luca: "I was searching for you anywhere, Sweetheart. Where have you been?"

Elias: "You can quit the act now, Luca."

Luca sat down hugging his knees.

Luca: "No acting. I was actually searching for you..."

Elias: "You brought me into trouble there...."

Luca: "She hasn't noticed it was you. She told me she thought you were nice and that we are a match made in heaven."

Elias: "Of course she would say that. She likes everybody. But you were really playing with the fire there..."

Luca leaned back into the high, green grass. His hands at the back of his head.

Luca: "Speaking for myself I really enjoyed seeing you being creative, funny and a little dirty for once. It was quite refreshing..."

Elias: "I have no intentions to become like you, Troublemaker."

There was a minute or so of silence between them, but then Luca proceeded to talk:

Luca: "I... have been searching further to help you and I have good and bad news..."

Elias: "The bad news first."

Luca: "Nah, I want it the other way around..."

Elias: "Do as you please. Just tell me."

Luca: "You will turn back automatically once your stomach has fully processed the thing you ate."

Elias: "That's fantastic! What are the bad news, then?"

Luca sat up again and looked deep in Elias deep, purple eyes.

Luca: "We will be just strangers again by tomorrow. You will keep ignoring me like you always do and the only way to grab your attention will be to tease you like I did before..."

Elias blushed. He couldn't remember any day in the past he was blushing more often than today.

Elias: "Why would you want my attention anyway?"

Luca: "Because I like you a lot and genuinely want to be your friend. I always did."

Elias breathed out sighing.

Elias: "Fine."

Luca: "Fine?"

Elias: "I will try. But if you keep actively annoying me this friendship is over before it has begun. I can guarantee you that..."

Luca: "Why the sudden change of mind? I thought you hated me?"

Elias: "I don't. Never did. I am just afraid that you might be a bad influence..."

Luca: "I sure am. But in a good way."

Elias: "We will see. You might have been right with a lot of the stuff you said. I may be a little too focused on making no mistakes sometimes and forget to laugh once in a while. The day we had to spend togheter forcefully began with me only wanting to turn back and turned out to be pretty fun so far, actually. I will try to see things more positively from now on, like Liz was trying to teach me ever since we met."
