𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 4 : 𝓘𝓷𝓿𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷

Yaoyorozu was rushing down the Todoroki corporations hallways as she was clutching piles of books and her laptop in her arms.

It's been a week since she accepted Todoroki's offer to become his secretary and since she was struggling financially with her bills and expenses and working as a waitress at a small restaurant wasn't making her enough, she had to accept after finding that Todoroki was willing to pay her three times her waitress salary.

However, never once did she imagine how stressful and difficult it was to work for a grown, immature baby that is also your ex.
Yaoyorozu was doing terrible on her first few days.

She would forget files,not bring them to meetings, was always late and the list goes on. She was surprised that she hadn't been fired yet knowing how strict and harsh Todoroki is and was to his previous employer.

Her other colleagues who are also her long high school friends believe that it was something to do with the past. Well their past...

Yaoyorozu snapped out when she realised that she was going to be late...again. But she was determined to break her streak of lateness. She sprinted down the hall dodging every person in her way. After multiple sorry's and tossing and turning...she made it.

She stood outside Todoroki's office door as she tried to find her breath. As she started to breathe the door flew open which made Yaoyorozu react and panic. She quickly straightened her posture and clutched the pile of books in her hands.

She was met with the most beautiful eyes ever that were staring right into her. She had to snap out of this and get back to reality and the reality was a nightmare.

"So...I got the files that you asked for and I sorted them out and I-"

"Ok thanks but we've got a meeting in two minutes so we must hurry!"

And with that Todoroki zoomed past a tired and annoyed Yaoyorozu. She knew work wasn't easy and fun but in the week she had been working here, she became extremely and busy with herself that she hasn't had time to go out with friends or eat out. She would also pull multiple all nighters to get her work done to not get scolded.

After the meeting, they split pathways as Yaoyorozu made her way to her office and Todoroki went to his. Yaoyorozu entered the large room filled with other people's personal areas and made her way to her designated spot. She slammed the empty folder on the desk that was waiting to be filled up but Yaoyorozu was so exhausted she layed her head on it to shut her eyes.

She closed her eyes as they started to feel heavy but unintentionally fell asleep for hours. When she woke up the lights were turned off and she had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders and she wasn't laying on the folder but a pillow. She found the folder to the side of her and it was filled up with a note saying

We know that it's your first week and you must be extremely stressed and tired so rest well and the whole of the writing department finished it for you!!

Yaoyorozu smiled to herself and was extremely grateful that she worked and had such caring friends. She started to pack up her things and went to head out.

Halfway she crossed paths with Todoroki but he was on call with someone and it seemed to be something to do with work. During the call, Yaoyorozu got caught from her hiding spot and Todoroki waved at her. He didn't seem mad at her luckily so it must be nothing too bad.

After the call ended Todoroki looked at her and sighed. "So um Yaoyorozu..." Todoroki said as he was scratching the back of his head and turned away to not make any contact with her as Yaoyorozu quirked her brows in curiosity. "I just received a call that I have to do business in Hawaii and as you are my secretary..." Todoroki looked at her as he tried to hide his embarrassment as Yaoyorozu blankly stared at him waiting for the question. "...I was wondering if you would like to come along?"

Yaoyorozu giggled which made Todoroki sulk as he didn't like being laughed at. "Of course I will!" Todoroki let out his breath that he didn't know he was holding in. He was relieved that she said yes.

A few days later

Todoroki was getting ready to go out because since the 'business trip' or should it be called vacation was in a few days. Yaoyorozu invited Todoroki to go shopping with her. He was struggling to decide what to wear but he finally chose to wear a plain white t-shirt with black trousers and to stay warm a brown collar jacket.

Yaoyorozu wasn't doing any better. Her whole wardrobe was emptied onto her bed as she scanned her bed trying to decide. She's been standing at the same spot moving around clothes for the past two hours. Her phone buzzed as she bent down to pick up her phone. It was from Todoroki and it read.

I'm outside your house. I'll be waiting!

After all the years she hadn't changed his name on her phone since the time they were dating. It felt weird to go out and work with your ex and now are going on holiday with him but as she looked at his contact name she felt like she didn't want to change it.

She looked back at her clothes and picked up a white blouse that was new and a brown skirt. She placed them on top of eachother and decided this was going to be her outfit.

She changed and collected her things and locked her apartment. She sprinted down the stairwell as she realised she left Todoroki waiting for quite some time.

"Todoroki-kun!" She yelled as Todoroki turned his head away from his phone and faced her. He felt that time froze. She looked so beautiful. "You look good..." Todoroki quietly whispered and turned away from her as Yaoyorozu leaned in to hear him. "Thank you!" She said in a joyful tone.

They got into the car as Todoroki opened the door for Yaoyorozu so she can go in. Yaoyorozu blushed at this action. Why after all these can he still make her heart beat so fast.

When they arrived, they walked into the mall and put caps on to not be seen by the paparazzi. As they were walking Yaoyorozu came across a mini book store. She grabbed Todoroki's hand and pulled him in. She scanned the shelves and started reading the blurbs. Todoroki wasn't really interested in these things but the giant grin on Yaoyorozu's face made it all worth it.

After a while Yaoyorozu finally decided on a book and went to go pay for it as Todoroki waited outside. She came out holding a bag and took out another copy of the same book she just got. "Here!" Todoroki was extremely confused. "We can read it on the plane together!" Todoroki was reluctant but seeing how enthusiastic she was he took it and thanked her.

They continued shopping going from store to store until they ran out of energy so to fuel them up they went to the food court. Todoroki was holding most of the bags since he insisted whilst Yaoyorozu was just holding a few small ones. Yaoyorozu went to order some food whilst Todoroki sat at a table , resting after all of the exhausting and non stop activities he was drained.

Yaoyorozu came back holding a tray that had a bowl of ramen and cold soba. Todoroki quickly ran up to her and grabbed the tray away from her. Yaoyorozu sat down and they ate their noodles.

After everything, they started heading out and removing their headwear thinking no one would recognise them. Oh how they were wrong. A fan girl screamed Todoroki's name and paparazzi and people started screaming and taking pictures of them. Todoroki was used to this by now and he know from college that Yaoyorozu didn't like large crowds because it gave her social anxiety and also because of the trauma that she had from her parents situation.

Todoroki took off his jacket and put it over her head to shield her and wrapped his arm around her to guide them away from the crowd. It started to shrink but when they got to the car Todoroki opened the door for Yaoyorozu and told her to duck down. He told them to go now as they were leaving but they were so persistent and kept asking questions.

Todoroki had no choice but to get into the car and just drive away leaving everyone stunned.
