~•~•~~•~•~Jessalyn would be blasting music from her tv and could be heard through the entire apartment.
"What's going on in there?" Callie would ask, making her way into the kitchen as Arizona cooked breakfast for the family.
Arizona takes a bite of bacon before answering her. "Didn't she tell you? She's going out on a date today."
Callie takes a strip of bacon as well. "Aah that's right, uhh... Casey? Is it?" She says taking a bite.
"Quinn." Arizona corrects.
"Quinnn. That's right." She replies, still chewing on the bacon. "So what, She's gonna be getting ready for the next 8 hours."
Arizona turns off the stove and begins preparing the plates with food. "No actually, the kid had to cancel for the night, so they're going out for brunch." She hands a plate to Callie.
Callie grabs two of the 4 plates and begins walking to the dining table. "Oh well, that's kind sweet of them. But why would they cancel for the night?" She asks as she sets the plates down and scoots into her chair.
"Quinn plays the drums and has a gig to attend to tonight." Jessalyn says making her way to the table. She had a face mask on with hair rollers covering her entire head.
Callie furrows her eyebrows, "So what? They couldn't invite you to the concert?"
Jessalyn shrugs her shoulders. "Maybe they were too nervous for that kind of spotlight. Besides we're going out anyways, so what does it matter." She says as she takes a bite out of her eggs.
"Please. They're a drummer. Drummers are never too nervous for any kind of spotlight." Callie says as Arizona shoots her a look. "Look, all I'm saying is that canceling the first date night out isn't necessarily a green flag."
"Calliope. Please." Arizona would say as she cut Sofia's pancakes into pieces. She turns her attention towards Jessalyn. "I'm sure they had a good reason to cancel for tonight. You just go out this afternoon and have a good time. BUT not that GOOD of a time."
Jessalyn would shakes her head a bit. "What?"
"You know, the good of a time that shouldn't be discussed around a child." She'd say as she covered Sofia's ears. "You know. S. E. X." She'd spell out through a whisper.
