heeseung's pov

i managed to get accepted into this school as a student. i've finally been sent out to this world in mission of finding my mate. after years of hiding and staying at home, i'm finally ready. but it's a little tough. the next eclipse is happening in a week and if i don't find and mark my mate, who knows what will happen to me. i decided not to think too much about it and just went back to my house where my parents were waiting.

"did you get accepted?" my father asked.

"yes father, i got accepted." i replied.

my parents looked relieved and just nodded. i went to the kitchen to grab some food when i felt someone pull my hair. in annoyance, i turned around and saw my older brother. just as i had suspected. nobody in this world is brave enough to mess with me other than my brother. i just rolled my eyes as he laughed at how "stupid" i looked when i was annoyed. my mother called him out for disturbing me and i just stuck my tongue out at him as i went up to my room with my plate of food in my hands. i closed my room door and locked it. i sat on my study table as i began to eat. while i was eating in the comfort of my room, i remembered something that happened while i was on my way to apply myself for school. i had bumped into someone. a boy. a human. when i bumped into him, he apologised and his voice sounded like a melody to me. he was wearing the school's uniform and tie, his hair was parted in the middle, both sides covering his eyebrows. his eyes were the perfect shade of brown.

besides his facial features, i noticed his name tag. jake sim. i didn't think much about it, i thought it was a pretty cute name. until i realised. i snapped out of my daydream as i stared at my wall wide eyed.

"jake sim.. jake sim.. jake sim.. jake sim.." i repeated his name.

that's right! jake sim is my mate! i remembered now. yesterday, my father had briefed me about finding my mate, who he is and where i can find him.

"your mate's name is jake sim. he is from Hanyeong College. find him, and mark him by the next eclipse" my father's words echoed in my head.

i was so happy, i found him on my first day. but the hard part is to get to know him and be friends with him before i can break the news to him and mark him by the next eclipse. i sighed at the thought of how hard it was going to be considering i only had a week. i just hoped for the best.
