Hero x reader angst 🌧️

For as long as you've remembered you were really close to hero. You two were inseparable, always together! It was basically like you lived in his house, you also got along with his little brother kel but not as close as you and hero due to age gap and different interest. Whenever you and hero would walk in the halls to get to classes you would notice that hero was quite popular, always greeting everyone have small chats while you just stood there listening waiting. And of course hero always got girls asking him out but of course hero always declined only saying he wasn't ready for relationships. That was until he met a girl named Mari, Mari was one of the sweetest person you had ever met she was such a dear always taking care of others. You can tell why hero had fallen so inlove with Mari, ever since he had met Mari there was never some alone time between you and hero because Mari was always invited or just always there. You, hero, Mari were also in a little group with Mari's little brother sunny, hero's little brother Kel, Aubrey and basil. You had always got along with sunny and basil even though they were only a few years younger you still got along with them well! You and the group went everywhere together the beach, park, mall, forest you name it!

One day while you and the group were hanging out in Mari and Sunny's tree house, you and basil were reading a book of plants while Aubrey, Kel, and Sunny were dead asleep on the carpet all snuggled up. You look around to look for Mari and hero, which are no where to be found so you get up to tell basil you will go look for them while basil just nods at you.

You look outside the frame of the doorway of the treehouse to see hero and Mari looking at sunset while sitting next to each other. Then that made you feel something inside of you. Jealousy . Why were you feeling jealous its not like you liked hero-! Did you have a crush on hero! But you knew it was true you had a crush on hero but you already knew he had eyes for another one. You slowly feel tears start to prickle down your face and realize you are crying. You see Mari start to lean her head on hero's shoulder, while you stood there accepting the fact that hero doesn't have eyes for you but for Mari.

It had been a few months after realizing you had a crush on hero, during those months hero and Mari had officially started dated. Of course you were happy for them but it hurt seeing the person you love, love another person especially someone like Mari. You and the group were having a small picnic at the park when all of a sudden Mari had brought up a duet that she had coming up with sunny that weekend and if we would go to see it. Of course everyone agreed to go see it. Especially hero, he seemed like he was so excited about it, and throughout the whole week he would not stop talking about it.

It was the day of the duet that Mari and Sunny had and you had gone out to the market to buy gifts and small accessories for your outfit, everyone was getting ready for the big duet! By the time you were done getting ready everyone else was ready and were all going to met at the park to go see the duet together. Everyone was there except basil.? You were all looking around the park just to see a bunch of ambulances pass by the park. You and everybody saw, now you all started panicking, so you decide to calm everyone down

" okay Aubrey please breathe in and out i promise everything is going to be okay"
Calming down Aubrey
"Kel do you need a water? Please stop panicking everything is going to be okay"
Kel had calmed down a bit
" hm we should go to Mari and sunny's house to check up and see if basil is there"
You said calmly while the others nod making there way to Mari and Sunny's house.

When you guys had arrived you see ambulances and police, confused you guys make your way seeing Sunny and Mari's mom crying onto her husband's shoulder while he was talking with a police, you guys decide to look around more making your way to the backyard only to see doctors and police surrounding... Mari's dead body hanging on a tree. You wanted to throw up after seeing that. You look around to see hero on his knees crying , Kel and Aubrey sobbing holding onto each other. You start crying and then black. Everything went black and that was all you remembered before waking up in Mari and Sunny's living room. The silence in the room was uncomfortable you only heard a clock ticking. You look up to see hero, Kel and Aubrey asleep. Was it all a dream? You get up to get up to look around for anyone but you find no one so you decide to try to wake someone up. You were shaking hero but you notice hero had looked like he had been crying his hair messy but he was all dressed up like for a fancy occasion you look around and at yourself you all were dressed in fancy attire. It wasn't a dream.
