The students of Hogwarts sit at their tables in the great hall, awaiting their Headmaster to give them their first speech of the year. Cedric Diggory, Hufflepuff Prince, sat with his laughing friends, all catching up on their holidays. Cedric was the definition of perfect in every girls' eye, he was tall, tan, with honey brown hair and the most genuine and kindest smile anyone could muster.

"Attention students! Attention!" Professor Dumbledoor's voice rung out down the hall, gaining the attention of the students as he stands at the front of the great hall.

"Now that we have settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement." The students looked eagerly at their headmaster, already having an inkling about what the announcement was, rumors had begun to spread around the students about the Triwizard Tournament being held at their school.

"This castle will not only be your home this year, but home to some special guests as well. You see, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event, the Triwizard tournament!" The students of Hogwarts began to cheer and shout in joy until Dumbledore put his hands up again and called for silence.

"Though this year the Tournament will work differently, instead of having only 3 schools compete, we have invited our friends in the South-East to compete as well." This caused more cheers to erupt in the hall, again Dumbledore put up his hands and the students calmed down, "and let me make this clear, if chosen, you stand alone. Trust me when i say, these contests are not for the faint hearted" this caused the students to look at eachother, some with fear and some with excitement.

"You'd have to be an absolute nutter to enter" Cedric hear a girl say. More whispers erupted around him, but Cedric's father had already encouraged him to enter, and so he will.

The chatter quieted down and Dumbledore started speaking, "But for now, please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of Beauxbaton's Academy of Magic and their headmistress, Madame Maxine!" As Dumbledore said this, the doors to the great hall open revealing a group of elegant, sophisticated and stunning ladies.

They wore light blue uniforms with matching hats and skirts. They skipped down the hall, their lighthearted atmosphere catching the eyes of everyone in the room, especially the boys. In the middle of the girls, a tall woman walks gracefully down the path, she stood at a great height but looked like one of the kindest women to ever walk, a small smile graced her lips as she stood next to Dumbledore. The girls bowed in unison earning a cheer and round of applause to erupt in the hall.

"And now our friends from the North, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and their Headmaster, Igor Karkaroff!" Dumbledore's voice sounded out again and a group of muscular boys charged down the hall, they wore matching crimson robes with brown fur sashes. The boys in the line hit their canes against the ground in a rhythm as some ran to the front and started doing flips and some sort of parkour.

"Oh my god! Look its Viktor Krum!" Some people started to gush over the star quidditch player and most boys turned into fangirls over the muscular boy walking down the hall next the the headmaster.

"And finally, since this possibly the last Triwizard tournament, please join me in welcoming our very special guests and friends from the Pacific... The courageous students of The Cheshire School of Witch Craft and Wizardry! And their headmaster Hector Sinderbolt"

The door once again burst open revealing students clad in formal black slacks; the girls wore loose white blouses tucked into their pants and the boys wearing similar white button ups also tucked in, none of the students wore ties and the top two or three buttons of their shirts were undone, their shirts had The Cheshire's emblem embroidered on the left pocket of the shirt. Grey fur cloaks trailed behind the students as the confidently walked down the hall.

2 student walked upfront with their headmaster, both walked confidently and looked similar to eachother, both had their hand up to their mouths and made loud impressions of the Australian national bird, the Emu, while the rest of the students made low, baritone hums in the background. The sounds gave the students entrance a eerie settings.

The 2 students at the front walking with Hector Sinderbolt were the head boy and head girl of the Cheshire, Sage and Zephyr Spencer. They were fraternal twins and walked either side of their headmaster.

The students reached the front of the hall and faced the rest of Hogwarts, they wore small smirks seeing the schools shocked faces and then they bowed their heads and walked off the the side close to the Hufflepuff table.

Dumbledore greeted the new students and headmasters and headmistress and, with the help of Barty Crouch, explained the rules of the tournament, the hogwarts students were very disapointed to hear that only 17s and up could enter.

The Headmaster then he sent the forign students to go sit around the great hall with the students of Hogwarts. the Durmstrang boys sat at the Slytherin table, the Beauxbatons sat at Ravenclaw and the Chesire students spread out between the Griffendor and Hufflepuff tables.

Sage and Zephyr walked side-by-side down the Hufflepuff table, they saw people trying to make room for them but they already saw a space around the middle of the table and they were going to sit there. They both had light smiles on their faces and the students they walked past could pretty much feel the confidence that radiated off the pair.

Once they got to the spot they sat and the students beside them greeted them. Sage just so happen to sit next to the Hufflepuff prince, Cedric Diggory. Cedric sent her a warm smile and she returned it, "hi! I'm Cedric" he said sticking out his hand, Sage loved his accent, it sounded so fancy to her and she loved it.

"Hi! I'm Sage and this is my twin brother Zephyr, pleasure to meet you" she said shaking Cedric's outstretched hand and gestured to Zephyr who also shook the hand, Cedric was aware that the students were going to have accents but he didn't know that he'd love hers so much.

"Pleasures all mine, this is Cruz Stephen and Marcus Whither-" Cedric said gesturing to his friends "-what year are you guys in?" Cedric asked as he started to put food on his plate, "We are in our 7th year, but we started back in January, so we would be almost finished. We turned 17 back in december" Zephyr said also starting to put food on his plate like his sister.

"That means your old enough to enter the tournament, are you going to enter?" Cedric's best friend Cruz asked looking between the twins, "As head boy and girl of the Cheshire, thats what we are here to do." Sage said proudly looking at Zephyr who nodded.

"Ok, I have two questions" Cedric's friend Marcus says looking at the twins, "one, how do you do that bird call thingy, and how are you in the same years as us when we are older than you? we are tuning 18 this year." He said lacing his fingers in front of his face.

"Oh, well at the Chesire, we start school at the start of the calander year and its based of what age you are turning that year. so we would have graduated when this is all over." Sage says casually before eating more of the steak that was on her plate.

"And for the Emu calls, a lot of practise. we can teach you another time if you want." Sage continued after swallowing.

The conversation between the group continued through out the dinner, the twins learned more about the boys and Hogwarts and in return the boys learned more about the twins and the Cheshire.

Eventually the night came to a close and Zephyr walked away with Cruz and Marcus leaving Cedric and Sage. They walk out of the great hall together while talking about their favorite subjects and spells. Cedric walks Sage out to where the Cheshire students are staying and bids her a goodnight, he waits there till she inside before walking away back to his dorm.
