"Allah Hu akbar" (Allah is the greatest)
A tall, well built, handsome man in his mid twenties raised from prostration followed by performing Tashahud then Tasleem. He turned to his right keeping his eyes on his shoulder and said,
"Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatu Allah" (Peace be upon you and God's mercy), Then turned towards his left shoulder, repeating the phrase. Finally, he raised both of his hands for supplication, begging his Creater for forgiveness, mercy and guidance, followed by his sincere wishes.
He stood up after offering his morning prayer, folding the green prayer mat before keeping it on the shelf neatly along with the white skullcap, then left for his morning run.
Umair Ali Shah, the sole heir to the Nawabi throne of the city of Lucknow. Son of Nawab Nadeem Ali Shah and Jafina Ali Shah.
Although, dictatorship had been abolished decades ago and India became a democratic country, regardless, the family of Nawabs were still considered as royals, holding immense social and political powers. They were the richest family, true to their title, they rule over the corporate world as well.

"Umair, here you are", a beautiful lady in her late forties smiled lovingly at the young prince who joined the rest of the family in the dinning able for breakfast.
"Assalamu Alaikum, everyone" (Peace be upon you), he did not forget to greet his family who smiled before returning it, "Walaikum Assalam" (Peace be upon you too)."Umair", a man in his early fifties called for the young prince.
"Yes dad", the young man gave his attention to the elder.
"We are invited at the khan mansion in Ajmer, to attend the graduation celebration of their daughter", he informed but before he could ask the younger to accompany them the later spoke,
"I won't be able to attend, dad. Someone should be here to manage everything", Umair stated without any emotions on his face, he never attend any grand celebrations if it did not involve business or immediate family."I can stay back, Umair", said Umair's adopted elder brother who was also happened to be his cousin. Zahid Haider and his beloved wife Zoya Ahmed lived with the royal family as their own.
"There is no need for that, bhai", came a final reply which none could contradict. They were not offended neither they took that denial in a wrong sense because that was how Umair Ali Shah was, in general. His own family never saw a single curve at the corner of his lips which was commonly known as smile.
Umair never smiled.
His face was always blank and emotionless. He wasn't the same in childhood rather he was a really goofy and bright child who promised his parents to take care of his little sister Jasmine Ali Shah with his life.
It was after he returned back from the states that he changed completely. Reasons being unknown, neither he opened up to anyone.
Umair was sent to the states in his early teen years to study and train for his position. The future of the throne and the business relie on his shoulder. Ever since the new Umair returned, everyone witnessed the future Nawab and powerful CEO in him, but the always smiling, soft Umair had disappeared.
His devastating change in personality effected Jafina the most because she felt like a failed mother when she witnessed the lost smile of her son. She begged in each and ever prayer to the Almighty to grant her son solace and return back his happiness, in which ever form that was suitable for him, for Allah knows best.
The young beautiful princess, Jasmine Ali Shah was like a ray of sunshine. She aced a degree in interior decoration and has been working with an international company since past year.
