*Ashley's POV*

A looked up at the clock that said 11:59.

12:00.
It was my birthday!
20th November!

My room door swung open and there was a shout, "Happy Birthday Ashley!"

There were my best friends i.e. The One Direction lads, standing there.

In a course of short time, during the X Factor, I visited Harry a lot and eventually got closer to the rest of his band mates.

Okay fine, I basically went to see Zayn. But also Harry.

"Oh my God! Thank you guys!" I was so happy they were the first ones, "It's the start sweetie." Louis said dramatically.

Then entered Zayn, with a big cake and balloons in his hand.

I nearly fainted at the sight of him. He looked gorgeous in a black shirt and black jeans.

He opened the cake on a table next to him.

I was splendid. It was the most beautiful cake ever. It was all chocolate with my photo and caption "1D's princess!"

A part of me quickly declared it to be my best birthday so far.

I hugged each of them as they said "Happy Birthday princess." and gave me gifts.

I replied, "Aww! Thank you. I love you." To all of them. Yeah, all of them got the same reply.

Ain't I the most creative teenager in the London city?

At last I came to Zayn who stood there smirking. I jumped to him and hugged him tightly. Over the time, we had become very close.

And also, I was crushing on him.
Come on, give me a break, he's Zayn Malik.

"Happy birthday Ash!" He hugged me tightly.

I was a bit disappointed that he did not call me 'princess'. Being his princess meant the most to me.

"Thank you Zayniee! You did not say princess, anyway, I'll forgive you for that. I love you so much!" A part of it was true.

His reply shook me a little, "You're welcome. You aren't my princess Ash...you're my queen. I love you too!"

*Zayn's P.O.V*

I said to Ashley what my real feelings were for her. I said I LOVE YOU TOO to her.

I wasn't lying or saying it because the lads did. I really loved her.

*Ashley's P.O.V*

I faced him directly. None of them said I love you too except for him.

Was this...?

"Umm, Zayn. Uhh..." He chuckled and continued, "As a best friend Ash!" We both chuckled.

Harry suddenly cleared his throat that made Zayn leave me but he also started blushing and Liam was looking at him from the corner of his eyes and nudging him.

Weird boys, I tell you.

"Ash! These 5 gifts from us and 1 combined gift!" Liam said. "One more? You guys love to spoil me huh?" I chuckled.

Niall continued, "Well partner, this is for you..."

They surprised me again....I was splendid...he was standing there.

My eyes went wide, my mouth was open and my throat was dry.

He was there.
