Riddle

Thanks to long slit in the dress, it aloud me to make a quick escape without anyone stopping me. "Hey!" I hear Blaise shout as they all watch me run out the back door. "Mattheo stop!" I shout rising my gun aiming it at him. He stands at the edge of the water, he slowly turns around to face me, I see that the girl is knock out from the pain.

"You don't have to do this," I say to him, my hand never wavering, my aim is true. "You don't understand y/n, you don't understand the power he has over my family, if I don't do what he says he'll kill us all, my sister, y/n I have to protect my sister," Mattheo explains to me. "He won't hurt her, Mattheo I promise you," I tell him. "I wish that was true but your not the true holder of the family name anymore, he's the power," Mattheo says.

I hear the back door swing open, "Reyes hurry up let's go," Draco shouts, I glance over my shoulder I see Draco and Blaise both with guns in their hands. "Come with us Mattheo you can get away from him," I tell Mattheo. "I wish y/n, but you know I can't do that," Mattheo declines my offer. I know Draco and the boys would take him in.

Mattheo and the Slytherins have a past together it only ended when Mattheo found out he had a sister, someone he finally cared for, his own blood. He would do anything for her and that's got him in trouble. "Just leave the girl out of this Mattheo, she has nothing to do with my father," I tell him, "I'll tell him you dumped the body and he will never know," I explain quickly. "Reyes!" Draco yells at me.

"There they are!" I hear shouting from inside the club, it sounded like Harry's voice. "I'm sorry," Mattheo says turning back around, I see the girls blood falling down his back. I run towards them but I was too late, Mattheo tosses the girl into the rushing water. "Reyes don't!" Draco shouts, but his words blur in my mind and I jump into the water after her.

The current of the water pulling me towards her, I just have to fouces on keeping my head above the water which is hard the water is ruff and quick. I remember Harry telling me that there is one spot in the river where the water is calm it leads to a beach, all I have to do is catch her there and everything will be okay.

I watch as the girls body goes over a small falls, I know the soft water is right down there. I start swimming towards it so I can catch up. My body goes over the falls. I see the girl is belly up floating around waiting for the water to continue to carry her away. Not today girl your not dying on my watch.

I swim over to her, I grab her arm and swim with her over to the sand on the side. Once my feet can touch, I move to the front of her and drag her onto dry land. Once I have her on dry land I see if she is still breathing, her breath is shallow but it is there, I start doing compressions on her stomach being careful not to damage her bullet wound more.

I'm so focused on the compressions that I don't even notice Enzo slide down on the sand next to me. "I know mouth to mouth," Enzo says, I stop the compressions and move out of the way for him to do his work, I take this time to catch my own breath. Enzo tilts her head back slightly, he opens her mouth and blowes air into her lungs.

The girl then gasps for and spits out left over water from her lungs, "that's right girl get the river out of your lungs," Enzo says. "Thanks," the girl mumbles. "For a cop you sure know how to trust the wrong people," I say, scolding her a bit. I stand up and walk towards the edge of the water, I don't know why but I feel angry, not at the girl but at Harry.

"You know I can say the same things about you, Reyes," she says. I turn back around and look at the girl, I cross my arms over my stomach, water still dripping off me, how can she scowled me after I have just saved her life. "Trusting someone who you love more then they will ever love you," she says. "Excuse me!" I snap. "Malfoy, he's clearly using you tricking you into thinking he loves you so you fall right into the palm of his hand," she says.
