iMIX doesn't work like other survival shows do. While most of them are about eliminating trainees until the final number of contestants is left, there is no elimination in iMIX. Everyone stays till the very end with a chance to debut.
But how does that work?
At the beginning of the show, every trainee gets a small globe with seven holes in it. Every hole is formed like a continent of our earth, the fitting gems are with the show's mentors. If all the gems are set in the globe, the person owning it is a multi talented trainee and ready to debut. But not everyone needs to be an all-rounder. In order to debut, the contestants need to receive five of the seven possible pieces of their globe.
Every gem represents a specific skill:
𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐙 : formed like europe, represents vocals
𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐘𝐒𝐓 : formed like north america, represents rap
𝐒𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐄 : formed like south america, represents dance
