37. the full moon

I saw Sirius and harry talking and I walked towards them and wrapped my arms around sirius's waist as he pull me closer.

"remus told me how you were in school just like your father. chaotic, stupid and short tempered yet smart, but your father wasn't smart" he turned to me I smiled.

"Additionally, mental" harry added.

"Shut up" I said and pulled Sirius tight.

"still clingy I see" we laughed but my laughter soon died when I saw the moon rised. the full moon.

"shit!" I said.

"Guys!" Hermione called showing them the moon. Remus start to change we ran towards them.

"remus my old friend did you take your potion tonight?" Siruis said trying to help him.

"run. All of you. Now" he said but non of us did we all stared at them.

"you know the man you truly are remus, this flesh is only flesh" Sirius said pointing his hand to his heart.

"this heart! Is where you truly live. This heart! Here!" Remus dropped his wand peter took it but harry disarmed him. He waved at us and turn to his rat form and run away.

Remus has now fully transformed and threw Sirius away. "Proffesor?" Hemrione said. "professor lupin?" He howled making us jump.

"there you are, potters" Snape saying coming out of the whomping willow.

"There are weasleys and granger too" I joked.

"Jackie. Not. Now. Please." They all said, except harry said jj and fred said love. Remus growled and Severus shielded them well at least tried to. I went to the front, remus tried to scratch but I pushed him with all the force I have using my telekinesis.

"Uncle moony?" I slowly said. "Uncle moony, it's me. It's jackpot" I kept the shield up "just like you said, now think. moony. think." My eyes tear up and I felt myself weak. The pain in the back of my head starts again. he starts shaking his head.

"yes! You can do it. Please" i said.

"Love get away from him!" I got pushed out of the way by Fred as remus went to scratch me. I fell to the ground and another stone hit my head, the same spot I was hit few minutes ago. I saw blurry as Fred fell to the ground and their muffled screaming before everything went black.

"It's just a concussion dear, she's fine I've healed it" I heard pomfrey said. "Mr weasley your stitches need to do their work go back to your bed"

"Not until she wakes up" I heard Fred.

"I'm awake freddie go back to your bed" I said and open my eyes. He throws himself at me but then groaned.

"What happened? You're hurt aren't you?" I said. His t-shirt was scratched and his knitted sweater was badly buttoned.

"I'm fine" he said. "You're the most important. Beside I promised to protect you didn't I?" he said.
