Family annoucment and preparation for Lzzy's birtday

One week before Lzzy's birthday

Lzzy and Joe were sleeping in her room, still hugging each other. After 10 minutes, Lzzy started to wake up and she felt warm hug around her waist. Joe also woke up and said with sexy sleepy voice : 'Good morning baby girl. Have you slept well?' Lzzy answered him smiling : 'I slept so well beside you baby. Do you wanna go with me in the kitchen to prepare breakfast for all of us?' Joe looked at her and said : 'Yes, but first ...', he pulled her close to him and kissed her gently. Lzzy enjoyed in their kiss. After some moments, they stood up and dressed up, then went to the kitchen. Joe loved the way Lzzy looked happy and interested in her job. While he was sitting in the kitchen, he looked at how happy she is making some food and having some melody in her head. She is having some melody in her thoughts during finishing their meal. She served for her and Joe a sandwich with salami and avocado spread. Joe looked at his meal and said : 'Wow ! Is this all for me?' Lzzy chuckled and said : 'Yes it is baby. Go on and try it.' Joe took his first bite and said : 'Oh My God! This is so delicious. Can you make another one for me please?' As he looked at her with puppy dog eyes, she said : ' Of course I can baby.' When she made another sandwich, Arejay woke up and said : ' Good morning lovebirds. How do you slept last night? ' He was yawning during asking that question in drunk way. Lzzy answered to him : ' Well I can say that we slept good last night, except you who look like you drank too much.' Lzzy frowned at her brother and he said : ' Oh come on sis, like you don't drink when you're upset.' Lzzy responded to him : ' Well I am drinking cause I am adult, and soon I will be 24 for your information, while you're 21.' She sat down on the chair and took a sip of water. She needed to calm down. When Arejay saw in which mood is his sister, he went to the bathroom, while she is sitting with Joe while sobbing on his shoulder she told him : ' I am so sorry for making this scene. I am just trying to be protective sister, but it looks like I am wasting my time and energy.' Joe hugged her and said : ' It's okay Lzzy. You don't need to stress yourself too much. I know that you want the best for your brother, but you need to think about yourself first. Never let anyone destroy your smart way to survive any danger, because you're much better than them.' Lzzy stopped crying and said to Joe : ' Thank you baby, I really needed to hear some positive thoughts from someone who understands me.' He responded : ' Always baby girl. Now come on, let's do something fun.' But when Joe finished his sentence, Roger and Beth came in the house, Lzzy screamed : ' Mum, Dad, how a big surprise from you to come here.' They both said : ' Hey darling, we're happy to see you too. Where is Arejay? ' She answered to them : ' He is in the bathroom. Anyway, do you want coffee? ' They said : ' Yes, we want.' But suddenly Roger spotted Joe and asked Lzzy : ' Lzzy, who is this guy and what is he doing in your house? ' Before Lzzy could answer to her father, Joe stood up and said : ' My respect, my name is Joe Hottinger. I am new guitarist in band Halestorm. Nice to meet you Mr and Mrs Hale. Also, I'm your daughter's boyfriend.' Joe approached Beth's hand and kissed like a real gentleman. Beth blushed so fast and said : ' Well, I must say that you are so cultured man. How old are you? ' Joe replied : ' I have the same age as your daughter.' Beth then said : ' Oh, ah, may I ask you some questions about you?' Joe said : ' Sure, why not.' When Beth and Joe went to the living room to talk, Roger asked Lzzy : ' Are you happy with him sweetie? ' Lzzy told her father through happy tears : ' Yes I am daddy, I haven't been happier than now. You know that I had accidents with Jordan, but Joe showed me the way to be brave and invincible. He read me like a book, and I must say that I am the proudest human ever.' Roger hugged his daughter and said : ' As long as you're happy, I won't disturb you in any moment, but promise me that you will call me if you have any problem.' She smiled and answered him : ' Of course I will daddy.' Arejay got out from the bathroom and hugged his parents. They both hugged him too and then said : ' It was really nice to meet you Joe and seeing you children. We will come next week, but with something special.' Roger winked to Arejay as he know that his sister's birthday is next week. They went home and Lzzy said : ' Okay I washed the dishes and make some coffee to myself. I will go to the studio. If someone needs me, you can call me on the phone.' Joe and Arejay said : ' Okay. ' Arejay told Joe : ' Follow her to the studio, but be quiet.' Joe said : ' Okay. ' Joe came near studio, hiding behind the door. As Lzzy came to the studio, she sat on the chair and started to play piano. She played some unrecognizable melody and started to sing : ' Drink the wine, my darling you said, take your time, and consume all of it. But the roses were only to drain my inspiration, the promises were spoiled before they left your lips and. She inhale deeply and started to sing : ' I breathe you in again, just to feel you, underneath my skin I'm holding on to, the sweet escape is always laced with a familiar taste; but she sang during sobbing of poison.' She stopped immediately and Joe started to clap saying : ' Wow, I've never heard someone singing like goddess. Your voice and your thoughts are so powerful and beautiful. This is the song that you need to publish on the next album.' Lzzy was still crying and said : ' Thank you Joe. To be honest right now, I wrote this song on the day we met. It gave me some flashbacks from my previous relationship and I just put some lyrics on the paper. I tried to get it away, but I felt so insecure.' She was crying more, but Joe hugged her and sang one song that he always sing for himself, now he is gonna do it for Lzzy : ' And they say that a hero could save us, I'm not gonna stand here and wait, I'll hold on to the wings of the eagles, watch as we all fly away.' Lzzy then wiped her tears and said : ' Wow, you really sound like the singer from that song. I think that you should be my back up vocal in the band. So what do you say? ' Joe lifted Lzzy high and screamed happily : ' Yes, we can sing together on some songs.' Lzzy nodded and told Joe : ' I am so happy that you accepted my suggestion, but can we please go to lunch and dinner? I need some time to rest.' Joe said : ' Sure, why not.'
