Chapter one

It was a winter night, an icy November evening. The frigid air wrapped around me, sending shivers down my spine. I couldn't help but notice the moon slowly rising, casting a gentle glow upon the city. Every street lamp, shop, house, and passing car came alive, adorned with the shimmering radiance of the moon and stars. It was as if an artist had skillfully painted the entire neighborhood on a vast, black canvas.

Standing there, with a beer in hand, I let out a puff of smoke, watching it dissipate into the night air. David, my steadfast companion, stood beside me. We had found our usual spot on the street, an unfinished building with a single floor, where we sought solace and relaxation during our evenings.

However, this particular night felt different, laden with a weighty significance that gripped my senses. It was as if fate whispered secrets in my ear when David mentioned a new girl in the neighborhood. And right at that moment, she appeared before my eyes, gliding with effortless grace toward a tailor shop down the street. It was as though the stars themselves had choreographed this encounter, and I couldn't shake the feeling that this was a pivotal moment in my life.

They say love can be ignited in a single moment. And in that very instant, without even exchanging a single word, I felt an inexplicable certainty deep within my soul that she was the one. It defied the boundaries of logic and reason, leaving me unable to articulate the profound emotions that swirled within me. Love, after all, transcends the limitations of language, and what I felt for her surpassed anything words could convey.

As I stood there, captivated by her presence, I couldn't help but notice the way she carried herself with an air of elegance. Her dark, flowing hair cascaded down her shoulders, and her eyes shimmered like two orbs of liquid moonlight. There was a hint of mystery in her gaze, as if she held secrets and stories waiting to be unraveled.

I wanted to approach her, to introduce myself and share my overwhelming admiration, but fear and doubt held me back. What if she didn't feel the same connection? What if I stumbled over my words and made a fool of myself? The weight of these uncertainties pressed upon me, causing my heart to race and my palms to grow clammy.

David nudged me gently, sensing my inner turmoil. He understood my hesitations but also recognized the potential for a once-in-a-lifetime connection. With a reassuring smile, he encouraged me to take that leap of faith, to seize the moment and embrace the unknown.

Summoning all my courage, I took a deep breath and started walking towards her. Each step felt like an eternity, and my mind raced with thoughts and possibilities. As I approached the tailor shop, my heart pounded in my chest, drowning out the sounds of the bustling city around us.

The girl turned her head slightly, as if sensing my presence, and our eyes locked for a fleeting moment. Her smile was as beautiful as bliss, her eyes ineffable, an enchantment that lures you in.

Her presence was like a fragrance of sweet beautiful dream, a fragrance so strong that you can't shake off of your skin lingering, even after waking up.

She was mesmerizing to look at, a beauty sparkling poetry.

With a mix of nerves and excitement, I finally reached her side. I wanted to say something. Anything. But all the words I had rehearsed in my mind evaporated, replaced by a genuine smile that mirrored the warmth and intensity of my feelings. She returned the smile, her eyes twinkling with curiosity and intrigue.
