It is a hot ass day in Texas and I am so done with this heat. I can't wait for the bell to ring so I can go home to my air conditioned house. I swear that clock moves slower than snails. RINGGGGGGGG. Yes finally I was getting out of this stupid school until September, it was FINALLY SUMMER! I quickly grab all my books and run out the door straight for Henry's car.

     I freeze in my tracks. Lila and Henry are waiting for me in the car as usual but so is Noah. Sitting in my spot too might I add. I open the back door n sit down next to my enemy.

"Uhh what are you doing here?" I ask.

"Jeez Rory can you just suck it up and spend the next 10 minutes not complaining about Noah's presence," Henry says from the front before even giving the chance for Noah to respond.

"I wasn't gonna complain I was just asking," I coldly say back focussing my attention to the window instead of how close Noah's hand was to my thigh.

10 minutes later Lila and I are sitting at the kitchen counter.

      "Sooo Rory you know that Jason's having a party tonight, we should go? He's been wanting to hook up with you forever, tonight could be the night!" Lila says. She's crazy if she thinks I'm gonna go anywhere near Jason.

"You know I don't like him Ly (Lila's nickname) I don't even wanna go remotely near him."

"Come on we can still go to the party there's gonna be other guys," Said Ly.

"What's this I hear about a party?" Said Henry. My attention shifted to Noah as he walked into the kitchen with Henry. He quickly stole a strawberry from my bowl of fruit and my attention was no longer on Lola's and Henry's conversation but now on Noah as he sucked on the Strawberry. Why couldn't I look away from him? His gaze shifted from the window and landed on me, I quickly turned my head toward Lila and Henry. Could he tell I had been staring at him, and why did I find him so attractive while he ate that Strawberry. OMG what am I thinking I need to focus I'm supposed to hate him.

"K then it's settled me and Rory will get ready here and we will meet you two at the party" Lila said.

"Huh" Noah and I both said at the same time. I turned to look at him, had he also been distracted? Was he thinking about me?

"Omg you two day dreamers, we are going to the party together at 9," Lila replied.

"I don't wanna go." Noah said harshly and with that he was leaving to go home. Whats wrong with him? Does he seriously hate me that much he won't go to a party with me?
