[Chase] Comfort

Chase burst out of the elevator into the kitchen where you sat eating your morning cereal. Your boyfriend had a look of anger and sadness mixed on his face

"What's wrong?" You questioned looking up at him, meeting his gaze. Chase looked away from you momentarily to maintain composer.

"It's just Adam being Adam.." you knew exactly what he meant. "Chase-" before you could comfort him, he cut you off.

"It's just that I mean he's so much stronger than me, and it's embarrassing to admit but it really does hurt when he teases"
Chase continued "and I wouldn't ever let him know that it hurts my feelings but..it does"

You grabbed his hand intertwining your fingers with his. "It's also Bree she acts like she's so much better just because her bionics are flashy" your boyfriend sighed

"Chase, you're literally the smartest guy on earth personally" you got closer to whisper in his ear "I think your bionics are the coolest" you backed away and stood up on your tiptoes to point a finger to his forehead
"It's all about what's up here"

He looked away from you sniffing.
You wrapped your arms around him, resting your head on his shoulder letting him hug you back "what'd Adam do?"

"Talking about my height" you squeezed tighter at that. "Chase, your height is fine. You're a fine size" you took a deep breath in
"Perfect for me anyway"
You felt chase smile into the side of your neck

"Thank you sweetheart"
"You're welcome now, wanna go to that new ice cream joint down town?"
