THE IVF TREATMENTS

chapter one

summary: john and marlena are trying for a baby but marlena is having a hard time getting pregnant, they decided to try IVF treatments.

Chapter one

marlena flips over the pregnancy test hopeful and nervous butterflies filling her stomach, her whole world comes crashing down in a matter of seconds, it's negative, again, for what seems like the thousandth time.

She hates this, she dreams of being a mother, having someone to nurture and to love instantly for the rest of her life.

It also, breaks her heart because she knows how knows john wants to be a father and how good of a father he will be once she finally gets pregnant.

It just doesn't seem fair, marlena and john have been trying to have a baby for two years now, and yet again the pregnancy test comes back negative.

john walks into the bathroom and he saw his wife is crying.

marlena looks up at her husband and says to him

It's negative, I'm so sorry, marlena sobs

Shh, it's okay and you have no reason to be sorry, you aren't doing anything wrong, john told his wife

I can't get pregnant, we are never going to get our baby, marlena told her husband.

john walk up to his wife and he started to rubbing her back and says to her.

We have options if you can't get pregnant, we can look into to fertility treatments, that is always an option.

We are not giving up on this, it is not something we ever do.

Yeah, I know, but fertility treatment is ridiculously expensive,  marlena told her husband.

Sweetheart, i will pay for it and it's going to happen, I promise you this is going to be it, we are going to be parents soon, I just have a really good feeling, john told his wife.

You are truly the best husband in the world, I can't wait until we are parents and you deserve this so much, marlena told her husband.

So I take it you are going to want to set an appointment with the fertility treatment specialist soon?, john asked his wife.

yes, marlena replied and she kissed him on the lips.

one week later, today is marlena doctor appointment and she was very nervous about it.

john walks up marlena and he rubs her shoulders up and down kissing her neck

it going to be okay Sweetheart, john told his wife.

just want a baby, a little of you and I, marlena told her husband as she close her eyes.

Just relax and it will work out for us Sweetheart, john told his wife as he hugs her from behind.

they got in the car and john pulls out of the driveway.

John turns on the radio and marlena takes his hand.

Do you think all of this stuff will help or do you think it's just like God knows what he wants to do for us and we should let this be?, marlena asked her husband.

Marlena, we are going in the right direction, God is pointing us in the right direction, I promise you,
we will have a baby, john told his wife.

i'm just nervous I don't know why but I can't stop the feeling that nerves surround me, marlena told her husband.

I know you are  but it going alright sweetheart,  john told his wife.

john and marlena arrived at the hospital.
