"Is... Is this the place?" Chelsea asked in awe as she looked up at the large abandoned complex.

"Yup. That's where I'm staying the night." I'd answer, staring up at it.

"So you're actually willing to do this? Even if you might die?" Isaac looked over at me, still concerned.

"Yes, and so what if I do, It's my decision!"

"Why are the walls covered with newspapers?" Jessica asked, poking at an old newspaper barely hanging onto a window.

"No idea, but they all say something about that earthquake from a few years ago."

"That must be what destroyed it." Isaac butted in.

"Yeah, no shit!" Chelsea laughed.

Silence fell among the group once again.

"You're sure you actually want to-" Jessica spoke.

"Yes, Jess. Now, how do I get in here?" I said, exploring the premises.

I'd soon eye a ladder leading to a large broken window.

"And... there's my answer!" I'd walk up to the ladder.

My friends looked at me, concerned.

"If you're actually gonna do this, we're heading back to Jessica's house. Call us if you need help or anything, ok? We'll be back at 8am tomorrow!" Isaac spoke, still looking up at me in concern.

"Got it!" I'd call out to them, already halfway up the ladder.

Chelsea, Jess, and Isaac looked back at me and left.

I'd finish climbing the ladder, looking through the broken window into the abandoned establishment.

"Bingo! Ok, let me just-"

I'd carefully climb through the broken window, trying not to cut myself on the broken glass.

"Phew! Ok, I'm in. Wow... This place is way bigger than I remember!" My voice echoed across the walls of the large abandoned complex.

A place that would've originally been filled with laughing children, freshly-cooked pizzas, and colorful neon lights had morphed into a dark, cold, and silent shell of its former self. Graffiti covered the walls, looks like I'm not the first one here, obviously. The location seemed to still have electricity because some of the neon lights were glowing faintly. I guess someone forgot to turn it off.

"Geez, whoever owned this place would have one big electricity bill... If they're... still alive."

I'd look in front of me at a large banner with the words: "Pardon our mess! We'll be back soon." It looks faded.

I'd climb down a ladder to my left, a cloud of dust scattering as I climbed off it.

"Oh boy! It's hella dusty." I'd cough a bit.

After wandering around in amazement for a little while, I found an old glitching staff bot that had crashed through a cardboard cutout of the main 4. It was twitching slightly. Besides that, It was holding a flashlight.

"You wouldn't mind if I took this, would you?" I spoke to the staff bot, not expecting it to answer me.

I took the flashlight from the bot and pressed the on/off button a few times, successfully turning it on.

"I'm surprised that still works. Nice!" I decided to keep it.

"Now... What's over this way?" I'd ask curiously, flashing my light toward a dark corridor to my left.
