Rosé was peaceful sleeping in her room hugging her huge baby pink teddy bear while she felt as if she could hear a sound from a distance "Chaeyoung-gaa, wake up. How long are you going to sleep? It's your first day of school and you don't want to miss your classes do you?" She could hear her mother talking while turning the lights on while Rosé jumped up in bed thinking that she missed her alarm and she knows her parents wrath if she ever misses even a second of her class. She took her phone and her eyes widened even more in shock as the time in her phone read 4:30am. She had set her alarm at 6:30 so she could have ample time to get ready for her first day of school. "Chaeyoung-gaa you are a high school student how can you sleep until this late" her mother shook her head in disapproval. If Rosé didn't know any better she would have protested and said that's it's just the first day of school and there's no need for her to wake up this early, but that's not the case here. Rosé put her head down while holding back her yawn "I am sorry Omma..." She said as she got out of the bed. "Go to the study room" her mother said and Rosé just nodded and went to the study room.
Rosé parents are both successful lawyers and they are known for 100% victory rate in every trail they do. Even when being busy with cases such as famous murder cases or an unfamiliar theft cases they still make sure they are present with their kids life and by life it means their kids education. They are absolutely obsessed with the top score that they could be so cruel during exam times while making it look like a normal thing every parent would do with their kid. They have never missed a single parent teacher meeting even in kindergarten. Sometimes even the teachers feel intimidated by the presence of the two most successful lawyers of the country in the meet. The expectations that they set for their kids are unbelievably high. Rosé could still remember her older sister didn't sleep a wink or more precisely how their parents didn't allow her to sleep a wink or how they banned her from going outside or meeting her friends before she cleared her bar exam and followed in their parents footsteps.
Rosé sighed as she opened the study room door while her eyes still half shut. If anything Rosé knew this room the best as she was made to spend most of the time in here which had a lot of book collections and tables to study. "Chaeyoung-gaa, are you still sleeping while walking?" A familiar voice made rosé more aware of her surrounding. "Huh? Oppaa..." She said while smiling and sat next to jimin who was already in the study room reading a book. Rosé put her head on Jimin's shoulder and closed her eyes "When did you get here?" She asked as a yawn slipped out of her mouth. Jimin chuckled at Rosé and started caressing her hair "Just a few minutes ago" he said while continuing stroking her hair. Rosé shot up quickly "Oppa stop. Do you want me to get punished by omma? If you keep doing that I will fall asleep and if she saw me sleeping I am done for good" she said and sighed peeking at the book in front of Jimin. "What are you reading?" She asked as jimin is the most rebelled against their parents when it comes to their obsession with their education while their oldest unnie Alice is the most affected by it. "Oh this. This is just the outline of all the basic concepts that I will be learning this year. Mom somehow got her hands on this" he said. It's nothing new that their mother gets them all the books and important notes and materials and even important questions for exams before even the teacher has it. There's only one rule in that house and that is
NO MATTER WHAT YOU STUDY
"I am sure she is on her way with the materials for me" and right when Rosé finished her sentence their mother entered the room with few materials in her hands. Rosé quickly grabbed a book from the side and started to look over it while their mother approached rosé and handed her the material with hint points and questions in it. "This was not easy to get my hands on so you better use it well and don't even think about sharing this with anyone especially to that friend of yours" she said rolling her eyes before turning her attention to Jimin. "So how is it going?" She asked looking at jimin while jimin just gave her a thumbs up without even looking at her. She simply sighed and left the room. "You can sleep if you want. I can cover for you" Jimin whispered in Rosé's ears which made her to giggle. "It's ok Oppa. I will just look through it and go to school early with jungkook and will study with him" she said which made jimin laugh "but didn't Omma particularly say not to share it with him?" He asked "Nope. I didn't hear it" rosé said before going to her room to get ready for school.
Rosé got ready and went straight to her sister Alice's room to borrow the smart watch which she has been eyeing for a long time. As she got inside the room and knocking on the door she could see Alice sitting on the desk beside her bed and was taking notes "Unnie. You are awake?" She asked in shock. Rosé thought her sister would get more free time once she passed the bar exam but little did she know that it's going to be completely opposite. After passing the bar exams Alice joined their dad's law firm as a intern and everyone would think that she would be favoured since it's their own daughter but it's for the same reason she gets more tests, more cases to handle and too much field work to do. Both her parents made sure she is trained in every aspect to become the best of best.
"Unnie did you even sleep?" Rosé asked worried. Alice is the first child of the house and indeed she is the most affected by the obsession of their parents. Rosé still remembers how much their parents put pressure on her that she started taking pills to stop herself from sleeping. Rosé was always worried about Alice's mental and physical health. "Of course I slept a few hours Chaeyoung-gaa but I have to complete this report today so I woke up early" she replied smiling but Rosé could see the tiredness in her eyes. Rosé felt completely helpless. "Ready for school?"Alice asked while Rosé nodded her head and quickly hugged her unnie tightly. Rosé just hopes that Alice doesn't lose her sanity. Alice was surprised but she smiled and hugged her little sister with a big smile "Have a good day and just enjoy your studies" she said while Rosé smiled and waved to her and walked out to the kitchen where she saw her mother packing her meal "Listen to all the classes carefully and don't get distracted" her mom said while rosé just nodded and gave her a quick hug before walking out of the house when she saw jimin "Oppa you are going to school early too?" She asked. Jimin just shook his head "I am sure it's better than here. Do you want a ride?" He asked. "No thank you. I will go in the other car. I have to pick Jungkook up" she said and gave Jimin a hug. Rosé nodded smiling and the Park siblings left for the road. Rosé quickly texted Jungkook "You better be ready I am coming to pick you up" and quickly posted a picture of herself and jimin on her social media.
