Chapter 8

"Park chaeyoung!!" A voice was heard when rosé and jungkook was laughing together and planning for the event tomorrow. Rosé didn't even have to turn around to know who it was. She could feel it in her soul. It was her mother. Rosé and jungkook turned around and looked at her and she was furious. She glared at jungkook and he involuntarily stepped back. Mrs. Park was scary when she is angry. She grabbed rosé violently and pulled her towards their car "we are leaving. Enough of all your shenanigans today" she said as rosé just helplessly followed while jungkook just watched the two of them go. "And you!" Mrs. Park turned around facing jungkook "I always knew you would be a bad influence on my family. Don't even dare to say this to jimin and make him skip his prevent lesson today and it's a warning" she said as she pulled rosé towards their car and drove off. Jungkook sighed "I hope she will be ok" he said and he felt absolutely helpless in the situation and he didn't want to make it worse so he kept it to himself.

Lisa made sure everything was fine with the preparations going on in the auditorium for the event tomorrow and as she walked out of the auditorium she saw rosé along with her mother and jungkook. "Great. Now she involved her mother in the matter. What is she even trying to do. Is she trying to show off that her parents care for her that they would leave all their work at once just for a little inconvenience she felt. Such a dramatic bitch" Lisa scoffed thinking that rosé mom came to make sure her precious daughter is fine. She felt a prick thinking back to her own house where she is just welcomed by the silence. She quickly started to run to stop the voices in her mind "stop it" she screamed. Jungkook watched rosé being dragged by her mother and stood there and as he looked to his side he could see a girl standing and staring at him "is she looking at me?" Jungkook thought and once his eyesight adjusted to the distance he figured that the girl was none other than Lisa and before he could wave he saw her running like a madman and before he knew his legs were following her "damn this girl have a lot of stamina" jungkook mumbled as he ran as fast he could trying hard not to lose track of Lisa breathing heavily and just like that Lisa suddenly dropped on the ground which made jungkook abruptly stop his running and his mouth immediately opened to get as much as air to his lung as possible. If you still haven't figured jungkook is not atheletic at all. He took few moments to catch his breath and then he looked at Lisa only to find her sitting right in the middle of nowhere her legs close to her chest as she bawled.

Jungkook was shook to see Lisa crying like this. She always put on such a brave face in front of everyone that it feels weird to even jungkook that she is crying. He actually didn't know what to do but he didn't have the heart to leave her alone. So jungkook thought what he thought was best. He silently walked over to lisa and sat beside her without speaking a word. Lisa was startled by the sudden arrival of another person and quickly wiped her tears and was about to get up. "It's ok. Let it all out. I won't tell anyone. It's a secret between us. This is a secret between us" jungkook said softly looking in the opposite direction. For some reason it made Lisa break down immediately. Is this a dream? Or did she really have someone beside her trying their best to comfort her and it's not taehyung. Wow. And before she even realised she was crying hard covering her face. Jungkook just sat there looking at the opposite side hearing Lisa's cry, his heart aching not knowing what broke this girl's heart to this extend. After few minutes Lisa wiped her face with her hand kerchief and got up "how did you get here?" Lisa asked sniffling inbetween. Jungkook turned around to face Lisa for the first time and her face was puffed up from all the crying. "What was that? I couldn't understand" he said. Lisa took a few moments to gain her composure and when he saw his face her heart skipped a beat "it's him again. Wait a minute" she said as she narrowed her eyebrows"Are you a stalker? Did you follow me here?" She asked quickly grabbing a stone from the ground "What are your intentions?" She asked. "Woah woah!! Calm down mad lady. I have no intentions towards you. What's the matter with you? You are crying one minute and now you are ready to attack me?" He asked his hands up in the air in defense. "Whaaat? Mad lady? Yah! You want to die?? And are you looking down on me just because I cried?" She asked fuming. "Shushhh" jungkook said as he put his fingers in front of Lisa's lips. "Like I said. It's out secret. I don't know what happened here and now that you are fine. I am leaving" he said once again showing his bunny smile before walking back to the school. Lisa's heart skipped a beat again seeing his smile and the words he spoke made her chuckle "idiot" she mumbled as she walked back as well.
