I walked out of the institution, proud of how I flaunted it. I walked to my house since it was actually near. I opened the door and surprisingly, my mom is actually there.

"Hi baby" She said, smiling but focusing on her paper works.

"Hi" I said, walking towards the direction of my room. I wasn't really that close with my mom but of course we talk to each other and stuff like that.

I looked at the mirror and I just didn't like what I see, dull brown eyes with matching brown hair, it's just not pretty at all. How can I impress Luke if I look like...this?!

I know who I'm calling now.

I dialled the number and waited for someone to answer.

"Lia, I need hair help" I said, knowing she's always the type of friend who's always there for 'hairstyle help'

"Yes, ma'am!" She replied and ended the call right away. I dialled another number, memorizing each number I was typing. I waited for it to ring and it took long.

"What's up hoe-mi" Erica's voice ringed. I smiled at the familiar nickname.

"I. Need. Help. On. My. Shoes" I slowly said, knowing she's the girl with great shoe taste.

"Erica to the rescueeee" She playfully said. I ended the call, dialling the next number.

"Hell-o" I said.

"Heyyyy" Haley said.

"I badly need you to do my makeup baby" I spoke up, I'm so happy I have the greatest squad ever.

"Aye aye captain! I'm bringing Serap and Amber!" She screamed, obviously preparing to go.

I dialled the next number, happy at how they're willing to help me.

"Rheaaaa baby" Madeline answered.

"Mads, I NEED YOUR FASHION SENSE NOW BYE!" I hung up laughing because I know she'd go here anyway.

Dialling the number.

"Cath!" I screamed.

"Whoa whoa no need to scream" She chuckled.

"Help me with the prettiest accessories okay?" I remarked.

"Okay." She answered, obviously quoting TFIOS.

I dialled Ashlee's number after talking to Cath.

"Hey Athena" She spoke on the other line.

"Ashlee I need your ideas on where to bring a boy on a date, it's weird that it's the other way around but I need help alright" I ended the call after she agreed.

I was so happy I have friends like them.

It took 10 minutes until a knock was heard on my door. I opened it, I was greeted by Haley, Serap, Amber, Lia, and Mads.

"Hey guys! Thank you for coming, this is pretty urgent" I thanked them.

"No problem-o" Mads spoke with her cute American accent.

"It's always an honor to touch your hair!" Lia spoke, sounding a bit creepy.

"That sounded creepy" Haley giggled.

I let my 5 best friends in. Haley placed her huge makeup kit on the table, Lia brought out the hair products, Mads prepared to search in my closet, Serap brought out the nail products and Amber got a lot of perfume in her bag.
"So what's the occasion? Ball? Family dinner? what?" Serap asked.

"Actually...it's a date" I said. Haley screamed, Lia danced like an idiot, Mads clapped her hands violently, Serap was singing High School Musical, and Amber was saying 'bee-doh' a lot of times.

"That's amazing baby!" Amber literally screamed.

"You've grown up so fast" Lia said, pretending to wipe the imaginary tears.

"Who's the guy?!" Mads yelled at me.

"He's-" I was cut off by the sound of knocking.

"Be right back" I laughed, opening the front door.

"My bítch!" Erica said, hugging me.

"Hey bae!" Cath and I did a brofist and I let them in the house.

"Athena!" Ashlee yelled my second name.

"What's up?" Erica asked.

"Our little baby right here has a date" Haley said in a baby voice while messing up with my hair.

"But! What about us!" Erica gasped.

"What about everything we've been through!" Cath continued, holding her heart and faking a hurt expression.

"You did not!" I screamed.

"You just quoted High School Musical!" Ashlee said and we all giggled.

Best Squad Ever.

Cath placed my accessories on the table while Erica searched for footwear on my shoe rack. Ashlee brought out a notebook, don't even ask why, all I know is she's a very organized girl when it comes to giving tips and advices.

Lia started with my hair, she settled with waterfall braid on my medium length hair. Serap started with my nails and I honestly feel like I have a lot of helpers.

"I wish I had your hair" Lia faked cried as I sushed her to continue what she was doing.

"Ta-da!" Lia sprayed the last hairspray and she smirked at her masterpiece. I reached for the mirror but Cath slapped my hand.

"Nuh-uh no looking until we finish this" Cath smirked.

"She hates suprises" Erica exclaimed. I rolled my eyes.

"Like what she said" I mumbled.

It was Haley's turn. She placed the makeup beside me and started doing her work.

"He'll be all over you" Haley remarked, winking at me.

"Like he would" I rolled my eyes. She put the finishing touches and Mads stepped up, preparing the clothes. She
settled with a collared shirt, a sweater and a floral skater skirt. I didn't know how I looked like but I put on the clothes anyway. Erica brought out black platforms from my shoe rack and let me wear stockings first.

Cath gave me my G-Clef necklace for me to wear it and lastly, Amber sprayed this strong yet fragrant perfume and I am so oblivious on how I look like right now.

"Are you ready to see your prettiness?" Cath exclaimed. I scoffed, rolling my eyes at the term 'prettiness'. I nodded anyway and they lead me to my huge mirror. I couldn't believe my eyes. Is this Rhea Athena Carter? I think so.

"So what do you think?" Serap asked.

I examined my makeup, it consists of winged eyeliner and red lipstick. The eyeliner made my dull brown eyes look cool. I looked at my outfit and hell it looked cute. The skirt complimented the sweater. My black platforms looked great with my stockings and black floral skirt. I had black nail polish which is actually simple but cute. I smelled like vanilla and I like how my necklace is. My hair was overly cute and different from my usual hair.

"Am I dreaming?" I gasped. My 8 best friends laughed.

"Perhaps not, goddess" Amber pretended to worship me and I'm literally shocked right now.

"So Ashlee, any ideas?" We'll take care of it, for now, you need to meet your knight in shining armor"

"What time is it?" I asked.

"1:50" Lia answered

"Let me guess, you're late" Haley chuckled and I just nodded.

"I'll give you a ride, don't worry" Lia laughed.

"Let's go then" I smirked

Time to get the boy.
