"Alright, Finn. Your turn again." Mr Schuester claps and pats my boyfriend on the back on his way up to the front. "Okay, so this is my second song for Quinn." He smiles and rubs his hands together.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.

When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Kind woman, I give you my all, kind woman, nothing more.

Little drops of rain whispered the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.

My love is strong, with you there is no wrong,

Together we shall go until we die.

My, my, my.

An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,

Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.

Happiness, no more be sad, happiness... I'm glad.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.

When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

I grin, and bow my head, succumbing to the embarrassment of being loved so desperately and deeply in public. Grateful tears gather in the corners of my eyes. "I love you, baby. And I love our baby." He beams, so proud of himself, and leans over to kiss me. I laugh against his mouth and lift my hand to cup his cheek. The kiss deepens and Mr. Schue coughs behind us. "Oh, get a room, won't ya." Santana rolls her eyes and pulls my shirtsleeve away from Finn. Puck looks down on us from the row behind, jaw set, and he clears his throat. "Yeah, guys." He says without looking directly at me. "Get a room." His eyes stare coldly at Finn, shooting daggers at his innocent, smiling face. I smile a little, and resort to gripping my boyfriend's hand tightly in my lap.

"Aaamazing!!!" We shout as our hands fly into the air. "Ready? You guys are going to rock this, I know it." Mr. Schuester grins as we scurry to our spots on the stage. "And now," The announcer booms over the loudspeaker. "All the way from William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, the New Directions!" He finishes, and the band plays the opening chords to our first song.

Run away-ay with me
Lost souls in revelry
Running wild and running free
Two kids, you and me

And I say
Hey, hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Renegades, renegades

Long live the pioneers
Rebels and mutineers
Go forth and have no fear
Come close and lend an ear

And I say
Hey, hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Renegades, renegades

All hail the underdogs
All hail the new kids
All hail the outlaws
Spielbergs and Kubricks

It's our time to make a move
It's our time to make amends
It's our time to break the rules
Let's begin...

And I say
Hey, hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Leaving like we're renegades
Renegades, renegades

We finish loudly, posing in our last dance move as the band holds the last note. Once the clapping ensues, I peek over at Finn, expecting him to be looking for my gaze. Instead, I see him look directly to his right, where Rachel stands, grinning like a madman. My face falls, but I try to rebuild my grin for the audience. I must have failed, because Santana catches my eye, and she's frowning in my general direction. I shake my head, signalling that I don't need her to kick anyone's ass, right now at least, and turn to Puck, waiting for him to step forward. He takes a deep breath, then takes a long stride closer to the audience, which is our signal to step back. I smile a little, happy that someone other than Rachel finally gets a solo, even if it is Puck. One of the stage helpers scurries across the stage, hands Noah a guitar and hurries back off to the side. Puck's hands lightly brush the strings, and he strums the first chord of his solo song.
