This is just to understand flow and the simple basics to it .
Flow is the amplification of natural and unnatural elements rooted from the Monochrome Dahlia as rhythm concentrated from the body to make action have a reaction.
Where the flower came from is still unknown, but it has always existed along with the Iridescence Iris .
Natural elements would be like water , carbon, light , and sound . Unnatural elements would be such as Velcro , Bombs , Dolls , and Guns .
Flow can use these elements to make a technique for a user to utilize .
There are types of Flow users based on the development of their flow : Inceptions , Perceptions, Deceptions , and Finesse : Stages 1 - 4. Depending on whether the flow of the human is natural or unnatural, it produces either : Tone or Mood.
Ex : Tone; Sound Flow - Sound G.
Ex : Mood; Gun Flow - Put it straight.
Inception is the base stage for Flow users and they usually have little control over the element they use.
Perception stage is the heightening of your five sense; there is more rhythm intertwined with your body.
Deception stage is a short training stage of weakness that transitions into the last stage of Finesse.
Finesse is the full rhythm that the body produces creating a new version of your flow either around the body or in an area a person is around, depending on where the person chooses to project it ; the final rhythm of power.
In this world currently, Witches and Walpurgises reek havoc across, so humans must train to strengthen the flow bestowed to them. Each country connects to the organization created in Chrysanthemum; the Zenith organization.
There, people are assigned and trained to carry out missions to rid of Witches and Walpurgises based on a two type stage ranking system : Bottom stage - Artisan and Top stage - Aristocrat.
Artisans are ranked from most to least capable in carrying missions in star rankings :
↑ 5 - Star
4 - Star
3 - Star
2 - Star
↓ 1 - Star
Aristocrats are ranked in only three levels by probability and the amount of flow they have:
Level 1 - Best results and most flow
Level 2 - Middle
Level 3 - Better than an artisan, however, below average in comparison.
Each year, there is an annual tournament Artisans can participate in to level up on their status. Some Artisans can even be demoted based on their performance at the tournament along with some Aristocrats.
Artisans work on missions locally, while Aristocrats work on more international jobs; protecting royalty, defending and aiding other countries, etc.
The usual protocol is for Artisans to wear dark colors such as black and navy and for Aristocrats to wear lighter colors like white and sky blue.
If you read the Backstory, you would know of The twelve and the difference between them and the regular human. Nothing about their power system will be listed here until it is formally introduced.
This book will take place in 2002 , but the first chapter will be in the 90s ; along with a time skip later on, and multiple flashbacks in future chapters . Keep in mind that in this book 'The past will always impact the future.'
The world will be better written and built in this book too ; easy to understand with descriptions, but not a lot that it is insufferable, just right.
Also, I will be describing characters from the images of them in my head along with their outfits.
I might use pictures, but in my opinion, they look a bit tacky when just inserted into a chapter of a Wattpad.
They look more anime like more than real people (attempt not to project).
At the end of the day, this is for my own personal enjoyment as I have had this idea in my head since 2020. If you end up reading this and liking this book, thank you so much for reading, it makes me really happy!
I'll write this book and improve it to the best of my ability !
