Did Megumi just call him dad? What the hell? This man has been missing for years, now he just shows up?!

Megumi stood there motionless as the man yawned. He cocks an eyebrow toward Megumi but shrugs before turning his attention to me.

"So, will you be staying for dinner?"

"Uh, actually sir Megumi and -"

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"Language Megumi." The older man scolds as he turns back around and folds his arm. His back muscles and shoulder blades contorting. I take the opportunity to observe Megumi's dad and couldn't help but notice how big this guy was. My eyes trail down and I internally scoff. How the hell did he have a tiny waist but a fat as- I shake the thoughts from my head and look away.

"Oh fuck off, don't try to act like a parent now." Fushiguro spat as he walked toward us, he glares at his father before grabbing my hand and taking me with him. Mr. Fushiguro watched us with a small smirk.

We quickly make our way down the stairs and I try to catch up with Megumi's footsteps.

"Where are we going?"

"Anywhere but here. I can call Gojo, I'm sure he'll let us stay-"

"Wait Megumi." I stop and he lets go of my hand as we make it to the bottom of the stairs.

"What- is something wrong?" He asks a little impatient and I bit my lip unsure if I should push the matter.

"Your dad-"

"Is a deadbeat. I don't know why he's here and I don't plan to wait around to find out. I'll settle this another day, right now I want to get you out of here." He grabs my arm and I nod my head deciding that we could talk about this another time.

I collect my things that were in the living room and hear the floorboards of the stairs creak. I look behind me to see Mr. Fushiguro descend the stairs.

"Leaving so soon?" He asks with a sly grin. I look to Megumi who rolls his eyes and continues to collect his things. Megumi asks if I have everything and I nod my head as I try my best to avoid the stare of Mr. Fushiguro.

Megumi starts making his way toward the front door when his father's hand stops him. I stand behind them as they look at each other with murderous intent.

"Megumi, answer when your father is talking to you." He narrows his eyes and Megumi clenches his jaw. He forces himself out of this father's grasp and scoffs.

"No, you don't get to come in here and try to tell me what to do-"

"It's my damn house, I'll do what I want you damn brat." The tension of the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

"It was inherited by me last year since you were gone for six years. We'll see how long this house is yours."

His father huffs out some air and folds his arm in annoyance. For a couple of seconds, no one says anything. I stand there awkwardly not wanting to involve myself in this family reunion. It wasn't my place but I couldn't help but worry about Megumi.

"You aren't even going to ask where I've been this whole time?"

"No, I stopped caring years ago. For all I care, you're dead to me." His dad looks taken aback by what his son says. He moves out of the way to let his son walk to the front door. However, as soon as he twists the knob, the older man opens his mouth to speak. "

"Wait, I'm also here to see your sister. How is she?" I froze at the mention of his sibling knowing that it was a very sensitive subject. I try to reassure Megumi and ask him to just leave but he clenches the handle from his luggage and whips around.
