BECUASE BENNY'S FAMILY LIVED ON A gated property, their front door was already unlocked upon entering. benny had called her parents before hand, telling them that she would be visiting with her boyfriend, and her friends which they both adored.
"mommy..?" benny yelled throughout the house, as she waited for her mother to respond. she knew her mother was home, she could already smell the habesha food that was cooking. her mother had appeared in the foyer moments later, pulling benny into a large hug as she kissed her cheek, before greeting aj and doing the same. she then went around, hugging each of the other boys as she caught up with them.
of course, right after she greeted her mother, benny basically raced to the sitting room. picking up her baby sister who was lying in her pram, as she peppered kisses all over her face. soon, she felt a pair of arms snatch her as she turned to see who it was. she was met with aj, who held the baby close to his chest as he stuck his tongue out at her like a child.
"your so stupid.." she mumbled, crossing her arms, as they both sat on the couch. she watched aj play with the baby for a couple moments before the rest of her friends joined them in the sitting room.
"mommy tell aj to give me my baby.!" she whined as her mother made a face from the kitchen. "entay shigirki? that's not your baby.." her mother laughed, as benny mean mugged aj before aj reluctantly gave the baby back.
"bella..." benny kisssed her teeth to get the baby's attention, as the baby began to play with her hoop earrings. "let me try!" sharky whined from the other side of the couch as benny side eyed him.
"she's not a toy sharky.."
"yeah but you were just arguing over who gets to play with her"
"whatever.." benny gave the baby back to aj as the boys sat two on each side of him. benny got up, helping her mother as she set the table. "mom did you make tibs?" benny sweetly asked, as her mother nodded, kissing her cheek.
as benny mother asked, benny pulled the injera from the fridge, rolling it up as she placed it on the tray. "mommy im pregnant.." benny casually stated, tearing a small peice of injera off as she stuffed it in her mouth. her mother shrugged, pouring a stew into a serving dish.
