NO ONE IN THE BETA SQUAD HOUSE COULD tell if benny was being dramatic or not. of course, all pregnant women were more high maintenance then otherwise. but benny had taken it to a whole knee level. she thought it was rightfully so, the boys would never know what being pregnant is like. to be fair, she felt huge. two months looked like four months and four months looked like eight months.
at the beginning of her pregnancy. the boys told her that they would be by her side through every step. and benny took that quite literally, she took advantage of it so bad that the boys might as well have been pregnant themselves.
while in gestation, benny hardly ever lifted a finger, and she made sure that someone was waiting hand and foot to help with any discomfort.
"sharky, run down to tesco and bring me one of those vanilla ice creams. make sure it's the tescos brand though, that ice cream is nice and yellow.."
"chunkz it's not that hard!! this crepe pink! they are completely different.. get me lemonade pink"
"throw those out, niko!! pickles make me wanna throw up.."
"kenny my feet are swollen and you got hands so get to work."
"aj stop breathing like that, i'm sleeping for two and right now we are both struggling.."
it was safe to say that the boys were dreading her pregnancy, considering she was only four months in. they were looking forward to the birthday, and for more than just the baby being born.
currently, benny was on her way to another doctors appointment, it was unusual for her to go on her own, but aj had a shoot. benny didn't mind going by herself, in fact, she made it a point to treat herself on her otherwise free day.
she went to get a foot massage, and a pedicure. she also got her acrylics in, something she hasn't done yet while pregnant. then she went to starbucks and got herself a nice pink drink. with cold foam of course. she went past a primark and picked up a couple pairs of earrings, and another set of matching bracelets for her and aj.
when she got to the obgyn, she felt pampered and prepared. she laid on the doctors mat as comfortably as she could, as went on her phone. it may have seemed rude, but benny usually clocked out during doctors appointments, she didn't really care what was going on as long she heard that her baby was healthy.
"your looking great, and your having a smooth fraternal pregnancy.. do you have any names in mind?" the doctor kindly asked, benny now had enough common sense to put down her phone and engage with the doctor, even though her appointment was nearing the end.
"oh yeah, jane if it's a girl. and john if it's a boy.." benny joked, as the doctor let out a humorous laugh. "maybe you could name one of your babies john and one jane!!" the doctor added to the running joke, but benny's brows dropped.
"what do you mean babies?" she asked quizzed, as the doctor awkwardly smiled. "oh well, you know. your are having twins.." the doctor explained, as she simply gave benny background of her joke. it was now benny wished she had the sense to put her phone down during appointments, and listen to the doctor.
maybe this was the universes way of making up for her miscarriage, maybe this was the universe trying to get her to back out of these kids. maybe this was the universes way of testing her motherhood. benny didn't know, but she was sure of one thing. she realized that no matter how badly she wanted to have kids, she wasn't ready, and wouldn't be good at it. maybe benny needed to listen to the signals before it was too late. or maybe..
benny could try her best with her kids. and take each day as it came
but that wasn't what she was going to do. she knew in her heart what she wanted and what she didn't. it was that moment that benny realized she wanted out of the pregnancy.
and that's another wrap! i feel like this book ended super weirdly but this is a trilogy so it had to happen:(: but be on the lookout for my next fic!! ps. it's a filly fic;)
