"DANA, from now on, you will live here."

Seven-year-old Dana looked back at Aunt Olivia, the kind lady who accidentally hit her on the street. Aunt Olivia had her arm around Dana as they walked inside her luxurious house.

Dana still remembered what had happened. Last night, she was wandering the streets miserably, not knowing where to go. She felt like destiny had taken away everything from her at such a young age. Her parents died in a huge fire that broke out in their neighborhood. The fire was caused by a candle left unattended by one of their neighbors. She wasn't home when the fire happened because she was at school. She arrived to see chaos and devastation caused by the massive flames. She searched for her parents, only to find out they were among the casualties of the fire.

Their life was tough, but abundant in love and education provided by her parents. It was difficult for her to accept that in an instant, her loved ones were gone. She was their only child, and their relatives lived far away, so she had no idea where to go. Their neighbors were all struggling too, just making ends meet, so she wasn't sure if anyone would take her in.

She was so young and didn't know what to do. What could a child like her do? But even at her age, she knew right from wrong. She was grateful for her parents for raising her well.

She didn't want to end up like the street children. For two days, she roamed the streets, constantly crying and not knowing where to go. Last night, she remembered feeling extremely hungry and weak. She couldn't see the approaching car in front of her.

When she woke up, she was in a hospital bed, and a beautiful lady named Aunt Olivia was standing beside her. Aunt Olivia fed her and bought her new clothes. She asked Dana where she lived, but Dana couldn't answer and instead narrated her painful life experience. Even though they were strangers, she could immediately sense Aunt Olivia's kindness. The next morning, Aunt Olivia brought her to her house.

"I'm going to live here?" she asked in disbelief.

She observed the house. It was huge and luxurious, very different from what she was used to. It was so wealthy.

Aunt Olivia smiled warmly at her and gently stroked her long hair.

"Yes. Don't you have a place to live anymore? That's why I want you to stay here in our house. I don't know why, but I feel at ease with you, dear," Aunt Olivia said. "Perhaps because I've always wanted to have a daughter, but I can't have children anymore." Dana saw the sadness in her eyes. "But I'm happy because I have a lively son," her voice brightened.

"But you don't even know me," she said with a hesitant smile.

"I can feel that you're a good child. I won't allow you to live on the streets, dear. What if bad people take an interest in you? I won't allow that. So from now on, I'll take care of you. I'll treat you like my own child. Would you like that, my dear?" Aunt Olivia asked.

Unable to hold back her tears, Dana nodded. Aunt Olivia held her face and wiped away her tears.

"Don't cry," Aunt Olivia comforted her. "You're such a beautiful child, and I can't bear to see you go away."

She smiled and hugged Aunt Olivia, saying, "Thank you very much."

Aunt Olivia returned the hug and stroked her hair. "Call me 'Mommy' from now on, okay?"

"Yes, m-mommy," she happily replied.

"Mom, who's that girl with you?"

They both released the hug and faced the owner of the voice.

She saw two young boys looking at them. One had a healthy physique and was holding a toy robot. Her gaze then shifted to his companion, who was chubby with fair skin. She got startled when the fair-skinned boy stared back at her. She was surprised that the boy was giving her a scornful look. It seemed he was being rude.

"She's Dana. From now on, she'll be living with us. Dana," Aunt Olivia patted her on the shoulder. "This is my son, Reigan." She pointed to the boy with the toy. "And this is Mingyu, my godson. His house is just across the street," she introduced the chubby boy to her. "Dana, they will be your older brothers now. Reigan will be your new sibling, and so is Mingyu."

"Hello," she smiled at them.

"Hi, Dana, nice to meet you. I'm Reigan," Reigan greeted her with a smile and waved at her. He seemed kind. Then, he turned to his mom. "Does it mean she'll be my little sister now? Where did you find her?" he asked a series of questions.

Mommy Olivia laughed. "I'll explain it to you later, Reigan."

Reigan just shrugged.

"I don't want to be her brother," Mingyu said, pointing at her.

"Mingyu, don't be naughty. I'll tell your mom about this," Mommy Olivia warned.

Mingyu didn't seem scared. He even grinned. "I just don't want to, Aunt," he insisted.

"Well, if you don't want to, then don't. I don't want to be your sister either," she retorted. If he thought she wanted him to be her brother, he was mistaken. She preferred her kind older brother Reigan.

"Hmph! You're so skinny. I don't want a skinny playmate," he teased her.

"And you're so fat. Chubby pig! Chubby pig!" she countered, teasing him back.

Mingyu suddenly approached her, and she got surprised when he pinched both of her cheeks tightly. He held her cheeks firmly, causing her pain. Tears started to well up.

"I'm not fat! My mommy says I'm healthy," he said with big, mocking eyes before finally letting go. "You look like a tomato with your red cheeks," he laughed loudly, teasing her again.

She glared at him, feeling angry and hurt. She touched her cheeks that he had pinched hard.

"You're so mean, chubby pig!" she yelled at him.

"Kids, stop it, okay," Mommy Olivia intervened. "Mingyu, you really..." she sighed and shook her head.

"I don't want to be Dana's brother," Mingyu insisted.

"And I don't want to be your sister!" she shouted back at him.

"Mingyu, stop picking on Dana. She's my sister now, so she's your sister too," Reigan said.

Mingyu looked at Reigan. "She's not my sister!" he said firmly.

"And you're not my sibling either!" she shouted back at him.
