Friendships' Ebb and Flow

In the quiet corners of my mind, I ponder and reflect,
As friendships fade like autumn leaves, emotions intersect,
Is it my fault they leave me now, I wonder with regret?
Or is life's ever-shifting dance, a pattern we must accept?

Through laughter shared and tears embraced, we built a bond so strong,
But as the seasons changed their course, it seems I don't belong.
A tinge of doubt engulfs my heart, the shadows start to creep,
Could I have done things differently? Did I sow seeds too deep?

In solitude, I seek the truth, examining my soul,
Did I neglect to show them love, unknowingly take a toll?
I wonder if I held too tight, or set them all too free,
Perhaps my fear of losing them became the end I see.

But friendships are a tapestry of threads we all create,
And each of us, a universe, with dreams and hopes innate.
The paths we choose may diverge, like rivers to the sea,
Yet, I must trust in who I am, and from self-blame be free.

For some will find new avenues, their hearts will find new kin,
And though it stings to say goodbye, the love we shared within,
Will linger as a cherished flame, a memory so sweet,
And pave the way for new connections, when two souls chance to meet.

It's not my fault that life's a wheel, forever turning 'round,
As people come and people go, in cycles we are bound.
So let me not imprison me in doubts that serve no grace,
But learn to cherish friendships past, as time and lives we trace.

In every ending lies a start, a chance to grow anew,
To find the strength within my heart, embrace the changing view.
And so, I'll bid farewell with grace, for nothing's set in stone,
In the journey of this life, I'll find my tribe, my own.

No it's not our fault if our friends leave us! Don't let them blame you if you did nothing wrong! Maybe they really don't deserve your kindness. Some people are manipulative but just believe in yourself that you are perfect in your own way because we did our best!
