POV - The Catalyst

I threw two men in the air and they fell to the ground as I walked past them. They fell to the ground with the virus spilling out. I walked throughout the alleys and halls trying to find what I needed. I needed the right blood. I needed hope. I needed to be ripped from the monster. Or is that what I really am?

After hundreds of years of living, was this really what I destined.

Another man ran at me with a dagger but I dodged quickly out of his way. I grabbed his wrist and twisted it with the virus growing in his veins. He'd soon suffer the most unbearable pain of his life. I threw the dagger down the alleyway and began to walk away from the man.

"WAIT," he cried. "I CAN FIND YOUR HAPPINESS! JUST LET ME TRY!"

"My happiness died long ago young man," I said as I lit up my pipe.

I walked away and jumped into my car. I started the engine and drove off in silence. I looked up in the highest tower of the cosmos and I could see some figures. It was a bright light that was lit. I could sense something holy and pure. I needed to get my hands on it.

I parked in the parking lot at the entrance to the building. I pushed in the doors and I could see loud music and people jumping to it. I pushed through the crowd and found an elevator where nobody was gathered around. I entered in the floor numbers towards the helipad.

I Looked around and felt a weird feeling. I felt trapped. The walls began to look like they were melting. The elevator stopped and I kicked open the door with full force. I stepped out into a dim room. The virus spread along the floors like a vine. Dark, cruel, and deadly. I couldn't tell whether or not it was a virus. It sniffs out what I want. I want happiness not for myself. I want happiness to kill it because of what happened to me.

I could see what my virus saw. I slipped through cracks and saw my body there. I saw three people in a room. They had a necklace with a heart on the end of it. I didn't just want it, I needed it. I retreated to my body and cleared my eyes of the virus.

I opened the door quietly and walked down the spiral stairs. I felt along the steel walls and found a door at the end. I used my virus to open the door and I walked through. There was a luxurious hallway in front of me. I walked along the purple carpet quietly. I felt along the walls to make sure there was no danger or traps. I found a door that my virus went through.

A name was on the door...

                                      Narcissus.

I had my virus ready. I had already gotten a few victims today. I had feasted. I didn't know what I was expecting. I was strong enough.
There was only three people.

"Hold on I hear something," A voice inside whispered.

I turned into my other form in a heartbeat. I turned into a black wisp and blended in with their shadows as they opened the door. I snuck in when they shut it. In this form I could not attack. Light would burn my skin if they shined any lights on me and not the actual shadow.

A man in scarves handed the necklace to a man in a purple suit. He looked like a cocky bastard too. His hair was long, dark, and slicked back. His eyes had a tint of purple too. That had to mean something.

I turned to my normal form and grabbed the man in the scarves by the neck and slammed him into the wall, grabbed my knife, and drew blood. I Immediately shot my virus into his veins. He screamed in pain as I was grabbed from behind.

"Get him Anton," said the man in the purple suit.
The man had dark hair and an accent.

He couldn't see anything on me unless he removed my numerous layers of clothes to protect my image.

I threw a right hook to Anton's face but he grabbed my wrist and threw me at the window.
The window cracked from my impact . Anton charged at me and I kicked him in the stomach, sending him into the other wall. Narcissus was the man in the purple suit I had assumed . He charged at me with full force and I rolled out of the way.

The man in the scarves was screaming in pain. I saw tears slipping from his face.

I dove and grabbed the necklace. I stored it one of my numerous pockets. Narcissus slammed me into the ground, knocking the wind out of me.

He leaned in and asked me to my mask, "And just who the hell are you?"

I didn't speak, but what I did do was give him a good kick to the stomach with both my boots.
I turned to my second form and slipped through the cracks with the necklace with me. I heard alarms sounding. I had to get out of here as soon as possible. The two standing ran after me.

The fumes I was creating was supposed to put the people following to sleep and mess with their memory. I flew at high speeds to get down the vents instead of the elevator. I slipped through a crack and eventually exited the building. The sound of alarms started to disappear behind me. After a few minutes of traveling, I made it to the parking garage where my car was located. I owned a Mastin, a ship that came from an old friend of mine.

It was blacked out. I saw a person in my way.
He turned around and I knew something was
up.

     It was Anton.

He was standing in front of my car. I don't think he could see me in this form. If he could, he might possess a power I don't know of yet. I know damn well Narcissus has one. The scarf kid too.

I slipped along the shadows of the concrete, wet, cold ceiling. I slipped into the shadows of my car when I realized I had fallen into a trap. I was in my normal form and Antonio stood over me.

      He grabbed my wrist.

"I believe you have something that belongs to us," he hissed.

     I didn't speak again.

"What's it gonna take for you to speak huh?"

      No answer.

I side kicked his shin and he fell sideways. I jumped over my car and slid into the driver seat. I backed up with no regard to me hitting the man. He hopped into a car of his own. He got into a white and slick looking vehicle. He started his engine and started trailing me at high speeds.

We get tech from everywhere in the galaxy in the city of cosmos.

The chase was on, and I needed to get out of here. We wanted the same thing. I'm not gonna give up something that I fought blood sweat and tears to get .
