New beginnings

9 months later

Sorry for not updating life got away from me for this chapter it will be longer to make up for it

*Vic had her baby*

Vic lays in the hospital bed with Carina and Maya by her side she just stares down at her baby and looks up at her friends
'  I I don't know what to call her can I even raise this baby alone What if I run out of money what do I do'

*Maya has been Vics point of contact through everything because she never knew what to do.*

Maya had the idea of ' what if we all raise the baby together so me you and Carina will be at the baby's side night and day you can move in with us the baby girl will never be alone okay'

Vic looks up with tears in her eyes 'you really mean that' both of them just smile trying not to tear up and nods ' in that case I have a name' she wipes away her tears ' your officially the god mothers to Amara reign Hughes' 

Both Carina and Maya tear up because they had been trying for a baby and never been able to and Amara was the name that Carina loved to death and it meant a lot to her for vic to do that they didn't know what to say and was really taken back that Vic had even done it they just gaze down at Amara but Maya tears up hugging Vic

Maya sniffles ' oh V Miller will be so proud of you' Vic smiles gently at me as I wipe my tears because Travis walks in and instantly acts like a immature idiot and makes a bunch of baby noises at Amara I wasn't too sure what he was thinking he was going to get out of it I do question him some times he carry's on to do this for at least ten mins and it's radio silent from me Carina and V eventually he snaps out of it when Amara has a gut wrenching stench coming from her so Travis ended up pulling a ghastly face and backed off however now that we new we had to change her we was working out who should and we didn't want V to because she looked drained so we all grinned at Travis.

*15 mins later*

Travis was still changing
Amara's diaper and the girls was just laughing at him because he looked like he was changing a something worse eventually Carina steps in after about 10 more mins of laughing at Travis and she showed him how to do it.

Travis glares at them ' that was so mean because uase you know I don't know how to look after kids never leave me alone with a child V I know you know I love you but I'm gonna be the worst uncle ever'

V chuckles 'don't worry Trav I will never leave you alone with my mar mar  not at least ast your uncle
Trained then that's another story'

Travis legs it out the room after hearing that sentence quicker then you can say hotdogs it felt the girls just laughed Carina looks over at Vic in her little Italian accent ' I don't think he wants that but that don't matter Amara has the best parent and co parents and she will have the whole of greys sloan and Station 19 families to turn to when life gets tough her moms the most badass fire fighter and her god parents are badass too with Bella getting her captains badge back we will be unstoppable okay'

Vic nods with a smile and yawns slightly ' is it okay if I can sleep yet Carina' 'yeh Let me take Amara for some tests and we can watch her till you wake again'

Carina takes Amara from Vic so she can sleep as she goes out the room with Amara Vic wanted Maya to lay with her so that's what she did and Maya rubs her back till Vic lays her head in Mayas shoulder and grips on to her that's when you knew she was dozing off.
Maya made sure no one entered because Vic hasn't slept much and as her captain she thought it was only right that she made sure that she could sleep as if they was back at the station Vic would of needed it to give her best performance in the field.

A hour later

After a hour goes bye Vic lifts up her head and sits up not even saying a word to Maya because she smelt chicken nuggets now that was her go to meal and she can never turn a few nuggets away from chick fil a so instead of the Cookie Monster it was the nugget monster she sat devouring the nuggets like there was no tomorrow Maya laughs at it all and jokingly says  'god V anyone would think the world was ending the way your eating them'

Vic snarls ' you would do the same if you was hungry just had a baby and in hospital I want my chicken' Maya was feeling quite peckish but she didn't dare touch any of Vics chicken because she was scared she'd loose a finger at this rate so she waited for Carina to come
Back as she asked her to get some sandwiches on the way back to the room for her and Maya and eventually she did so Amara passed all her tests and we just all sat eating and that was it the the start of the longest but best night of our lives that was the start of the new beginning.
