The bullies, led by a boy named Lysander, seemed to take pleasure in making Thristle's life miserable.
Every day, Thristle would endure taunts, insults, and even physical abuse. He tried his best to ignore the bullies and focus on his studies, but the constant torment began to take a toll on his spirit. He felt isolated and alone, with no one to turn to for support.
One particularly fateful day, the bullying reached its peak. Lysander and his gang cornered Thristle on the rooftop of an abandoned building near the school. They seemed to take a twisted delight in pushing him to the edge, both metaphorically and literally. Thristle's heart pounded in his chest as he gazed down at the terrifying drop below him.
