Suddenly, a radiant figure appeared before him. It was an angelic girl with shimmering wings, her eyes filled with compassion and strength. She reached out her hand towards Thristle, offering him hope and salvation.
Instinctively, Thristle took the angel girl's hand, feeling a surge of warmth and safety envelop him. With her guidance, he stepped back from the edge, away from the bullies' grasp. The angel girl shielded him with her wings, creating a protective barrier between Thristle and his tormentors.
Confused and startled, the bullies tried to approach, but an ethereal force seemed to repel them. Their faces turned pale with fear as they couldn't comprehend what was happening. Lysander, who was usually fearless, took several steps back, unable to muster the courage to lay a finger on Thristle or the angel girl.
"You should be ashamed of yourselves," the angel girl's voice resounded, firm yet compassionate. "Bullying is a terrible act, and it will only bring darkness into your hearts."
The bullies, overwhelmed by the angel girl's presence, eventually slinked away, leaving Thristle and the angel alone on the rooftop. Thristle felt an incredible sense of gratitude and awe towards this celestial being who had intervened to save him.
"Thank you," Thristle whispered, tears of relief streaming down his cheeks.
The angel girl smiled, her aura radiating comfort and peace. "You are worthy of kindness and love, Thristle. Remember, you are never alone. I will always be watching over you."
With those comforting words, the angel girl spread her wings and ascended gracefully into the sky. Thristle watched in wonder until she disappeared from sight, leaving him with a newfound sense of hope and strength.
