A Warden's Heart Ch.1: Recovery

I woke up to a sound of something crumbling, and to the tremor that suddenly appeared around me. Looking around, I don't fully recognize where I am, at least not until my eyes darted upon a structure so bright and towering above everything around. 

It was so familiar, yet it wasn't.

I know for sure that it was, in fact, the Celestial Palace, at the time when it still stood strong unlike today. It was indeed a very mesmerizing view. A sight to behold that nothing could even match its splendor.

I was so entranced by the view that I didn't notice that the world around me started to shake, as if a giant tremor made its debut towards this palace itself. And I still didn't notice until I looked on the lower part of the Palace, the Sanctum/Training Ground itself. In which I saw two figures, one is a girl and a mecha that's very familiar to me, and the other is again a familiar figure to me. The two seemed to be clashing with each other, and battle might probably be a reason the tremor started from the beginning, although unbeknownst to me, it wasn't the case.

I could faintly hear the sounds of clashing, and also some spoken from the figures, although it's very faint since the sound of rubbles falling down and the tremor itself overlapped them. But with my slightly enhanced hearing, I can make out some of it.

"...let you hurt my father!" A girl's sound could be faintly heard

"Traitor!...sided...humans...intruders." This time, a heavier sound is heard.

I can recognize the heavier one belongs to Uranus, and the girl one, judging by the appearance and the sound, is probably the same girl that attacked me.

Speaking of which...

"You two, stop this meaningless battle at once!" I heard Kaja's sound suddenly thundering beyond the other sounds. Apparently it was so thunderous that even the two figures stopped and looked at the source, which is none other than the Nazar King himself.

"Stop this nonsense and look up!" They turned to see the palace begin to crumble, and dark forces seemed to seep out of it, staining the splendor of the palace itself. "The Celestial Palace is breaking down, and the Evil Gods have been released."

The two put their weapons down.

"As the guardians of this place. We know we have to take some responsibilities for this chaotic moment. Uranus, Edith, I want you to..."

Just as I wanted to hear more, suddenly my view began to distort, and everything faded to black.

When my vision returned to me, I was greeted with another scenery. I saw golden ornaments and white walls, with also some few bright lights, a pair of blue orbs with white oval-ish shape surrounding it, blonde strands of hair, and...

Wait...orbs? hair?

It was then I realized that I've been looking at a face, a face that I instantly recognize, which after I register, struck me with horror.

"Uh...h-hello."

"Kyaaa!" The figure suddenly jumps away from me, and I felt something released from my cheek as well. The figure glared at me with her hands in front of her...ahem...modest chest. But it wasn't on my focus since I knew well who this figure is. "Y-You scared me."

"Shouldn't I also be?" I replied, clearly still struck with fear. "I mean, I'm now in front of someone that attacked me...Am I going to be executed?"

"W-Well...you see..."
