How's school going Lay? My mom asked as I helped her pack some food up in the containers. She was selling dinners again this week and the hood was all over our house.

It's going, can't wait until break!

Already? It's only been like 2 months.

Yeah 2 months of non stop work!

Well you know I can't wait to have you home for the holidays. Aaron was thinking about a trip up in the cabins for Christmas. You and Alex come and join us.

I would love that, I know Lex would too.

No not really! It's just that your his baby girl and he's not ready to see you grow up yet!

But mom honestly what's the difference from him meeting Wyatt and me dating Anthony?

I think he's just scared to lose you to the streets and don't want you to get into anything Illegal messing with him. I told him you was grown enough to make your own decisions about who you want to date but he's so adamant about you dating him. And I get it I do. Even though unlike him bad things do follow people like him and you have to be careful.

I whole heartedly get what your saying and how dad feels but he's never had me in any type of harms way. I met the president of the United States because of him. He's shown me nothing but a good time and he was so genuine. Not saying that the streets can't follow him any where but he's never had me in any danger he's actually saved me a few times....

Ma no it's not like that I mean...a few weeks ago I had a flat tire he pulled up got my car fixed and all while I was in class. A few days after that my tire had popped on the expressway he stopped doing what he was doing to come get me that's why I was here for that weekend. Than turned around and bought me a brand new car.

He bought you a brand new car? That ain't yo car out there? I sure enough was thinking why did your car look a lil different!

I understand you wanna please Aaron and me and make us proud and happy of you which we will be regardless of anything. But I also feel like you have to make your own mistakes and decisions to figure out what it is that Laylani likes and don't like. He wants to protect you but if you don't make mistakes there is nothing he can protect you from. But I will tell you this baby.... It took me a long time to realize I was with the wrong person and I was only doing what they wanted me to and I was never happy. You have to do what you wanna do to make you happy!

I really took what my mom was saying into consideration. It had me thinking about so much now. It's been weeks since I talked to Anthony and he's just been constantly on my mind. I know at this point I'm probably just a memory in his.

I finished boxing the plates up and putting them in a bag. I grabbed it walking to the front door to the girl who was out there waiting. She was so pretty. Instagram model type chick. She handed me a $100 dollar bill and told me to keep the change. She walked off the porch to a silver Gwagon. She opened the door and Anthony was sitting in the driver seat on his phone. We both made eye contact with each other.

Thank you baby! She said to him as she closed her door. I bit the side of my lip, to say I was salty was an understatement.

See told you that's why you shouldn't of messed with that boy! My dad said as he walked up the steps shaking his head.

Nah I'm leaving! I pushed past her and grabbed my keys and purse from the key ring. I walked past both of them. My dad was pissed to say the least.

Lani wait?! My mom called out to me. I ignored and got in my car. I pulled off and headed back to my dorms. He really just made me so mad. I mean I see his point but it pissed me.
