Mom Elf had the difficult quest of finding something to put her baby to sleep.
"I still don't understand why he won't sleep. Doesn't he like fairy tales?" she complained.
"Perhaps he's a German elf, I've heard they love eerie and macabre things. Try something scarier" argued Dad Elf, laughing.
"If you don't fall asleep now, a bear will come for you and eat you!" she said.
The baby fell asleep immediately as if enchanted.
"Incredible, how did you know it'd work?"
"I didn't think it would, I was just joking. Now I'm doubtful if that baby is my son..." he looked at his wife suspiciously.
