Crystal's POV
BEEP BEEP BEEP
I groggily lifted my hand out of my warm and cozy covers and placed it on my cold, metal alarm clock. I jumped out of my bed and changed into a t-shirt with skinny jeans and black flats. I glanced at my clock and rushed downstairs, scarfing down my warm breakfast. I raced back upstairs to brush my teeth and brush my hair. I put a little bit of blush on and some lip gloss, grabbed my backpack, hugged my mom that was drinking her daily coffee, and drove off to school in my BMW.
When I went to school and took my books out of my locker, I heard Sammy walk up to me.
"Hey Sammy!" I cheerfully said. Sammy was my best friend and we known each other since kindergarten.
"Hey Crystal! How's it going today?" Sammy said as I closed my locker door. I gripped my books tighter while we pushed through the crowd and we started walking to class.
"Pretty good," I replied smiling to everyone that passed me. Sammy and I waved to each other and I walked off to math while she walked off to history class.
I walked into math and took my usual seat near the back of the room. My other best friend, Kyle, sat next to me when he walked in.
"Hello," Kyle said as he turned and faced me. I smiled at him and I was about to respond, but the teacher walked in. I quickly mouthed "Talk to you at lunch"
He nodded and turned his head to the chalkboard where Mr. Stack was already writing a hundred math problems on the board. Nobody wanted to mess with Mr. Stack because he was the sternest, meanest, and scariest teacher out of all the faculty. Not even the principal wanted to make him upset. Plus, Mr. Stack had anger issues.
As soon as math was over and Kyle and I walked into the hallway, the cheerleaders shoved us aside and ran to their boyfriends. The head cheerleader, Mallory, smirked at me and kissed her boyfriend, the head of the football team. She knew I liked him and liked to make me jealous.
Mallory picked on everyone, especially the nerds. The only students she didn't pick on were the cheerleaders and the jocks. I rolled my eyes and waved goodbye to Kyle as he walked to his locker and I walked to mine.
