My eyeballs nearly pooped out of its socket, he's Lucrecia's what now?

My mind nearly went blank, after we kissed three days ago and now she announced that they're together made me go ballistic. Were they together before we even kissed or that was after? But whatever it is, it clearly means that the kiss meant nothing, well to him.

Mapakla akong ngumiti na nauwi sa tawa, I gave Pax a quick glance who's face was emotionlessly staring at me.

"Since when? Oh my god, I'm happy for you guys!" Some part of me lied, however, what am I supposed to say? She's my best friend.

"We just started dating, right Pax?" Nakangiting pagbaling ni Lu kay Pax. He, on the other hand, just smiled and nodded.

Napatango tango nalang ako at binuksan ang bote ng tubig at ininom 'yon. Afterwards, we started eating in silence, but I lost my appetite and the tapsi doesn't look enticing like it always did kaya ang ending, hindi ba ako nakatatlong subo ay tumigil na ako sa pagkain.

When I was done, I just sat there like a ghost watching them talk in between their meals. It was as if I was not even there.

Somehow, I felt mad at Pax but I soon realized I have no rights to be. Because first, we're not together to begin with for me to feel this way towards their newly announced relationship and second, why do I have to care?

We just shared a kiss, then that's probably it and nothing more. But why did I felt a pang on my chest when Lu announced their relationship?

I shook my head and sighed, I have a lot more to to think about and this isn't something that I should stress over. 

I started to fix my things and put away everything I ate before turning to them. They were still busy chatting over god knows what so I cleared my throat to get both their attention.

Lu gave me an apologetic smile, "Sorry Zash, you were saying?"

I pursed my lips and shook my head, I noticed Pax looking at me intently pero hindi ko na siya pinansin pa. "Mauuna na ako, ifa-finalize pa kasi namin ang booth." I lied, anong finalize eh kanina pa tapos ang booth?

"Oh, sige. I'll see you around." She replied with a small smile, I nodded and stood up. I looked at Pax for a second and just nodded at him before turning to leave.

Nang makalayo na, dun ko lang napagtanto na kanina ko pa pala pinipigilan ang pag-hinga ko. I stopped on my tracks for a while and held unto the railing nearby to compose myself.

I took a big breath and exhaled, I shut my eyes close before standing straight and acted as if my mind isn't going nuts with everything that's been going on.

Ipinagpatuloy ko na ang paglakad pabalik sa booth at tamang tama naman na dumating din si Jo. After finalizing his script, agad na namin sinimulang ang pag-operate ng wedding booth at agad naman kameng dinumog ng mga tao.

Minutes turned to hours at walang tigil ang pekeng seremonya na nagaganap sa loob ng booth.

I tied my hair up to a messy bun bago pagod na minasahe ang likod habang tinitignan ang susunod sa lista ng ikakasal nang biglang may umabot ng bote ng  tubig sa harap ko. Tumingala ako at agad na kumunot ang nuo ko nang makitang si Pax 'yon.
