One week later Today was the day of mine and Bill's first date, this is the only thing that has kept me going this past week. Since the incident at the Neibolt house, all of the Losers club have split up. Eddie isn't allowed to hang out with us anymore, Mike and Ben have distanced themselves from us, Richie still isn't speaking to me, which has been extremely hard. It's a bit complicated with me and Stanley as we are going to his bar mitzvah on Saturday, however we still haven't spoke to each other since all of us have split, the only ones who I have kept in contact with is Bill and Beverly, so luckily I haven't been entirely alone. I walked downstairs to have breakfast, and was greeted by my mother, "Hi Moll" she smiled, "Hey mom" "Are you and Richie still not speaking?" She asked, "No, he won't speak to me at all mom every time I try he just brushes me off and pretends I'm not even there" I sigh "I'm sorry honey, hopefully everything will work out" she gave me sympathetic look, "Is he here?" I asked, "No, he left early to go to the arcade" "Oh" I sighed, "Don't give up Mollie, he's your brother and I know you two will make up" she smiled and gave me a hug. "I hope so" I respond, "Where's dad by the way?" I asked "He left for work early, his company is going downhill" she sighed, "Oh no is he gonna get fired?" I questioned, "I'm not to sure but he's already looking for jobs just incase it does come to that point" she replied, "Anyways, I heard that you and Bill are going on a date" she smiled at me, "Yeah, is it ok if I use a bit of your makeup mom?" I asked shyly, "Of course honey, you can wear one of my dresses if you like too if they fit" she smiled warmly, "Thanks mom your the best, also is it ok if my friend Beverly comes over and helps?" I asked, "Sure" she smiled, "Thank you" I gave her a big smile, I ran over to the phone to ring Beverly, "Hi Bev" "Hi Mollie" "Can you come over to my house, I need help getting ready to go on a date with Bill?" "Of course I'll be there in 10 minutes" "Thank you Bev" "No problem Mollie"
10 minutes later, and Bev arrived, "Hi Mollie, are you ready to get made into a princess" she gave me a massive grin, "Yesss let's go upstairs and pick a dress" I gave her a big smile back as we ran upstairs and looked through my mothers closet, Bev pulled out a pink dress, "How about this one?" "Hmm not really my style" I responded I then pulled out a royal blue dress, "What about this one?" "It's nice, but I don't know if it would good for a movie date" Bev responded, I pulled out a red dress "Okay, what about this one" "It's perfect" Bev squealed in excitement, "First we need to do your hair and makeup" Bev continued, "Okay" I straightened my hair and put on some light makeup so it looked simple but classy, I then put on the dress,

"Oh my god Mollie you look gorgeous" Bev smiled at me, "Thank you" I gave her a smile and a hug, "And also thank you for helping me out your a good friend" I said, "Aww Mollie you are a good friend too in fact, you are my best friend" she said in return, "Aww really?" I smiled, since Beverly was my first and only girl best friend, "Of course, you stood up for me, and you are just an amazing friend in general I'm proud to call you my best friend" she said, which made me grin, "I'm proud to call you my best friend too" I responded.
40 minutes later It was now time for me to meet up with Bill and as soon as I was getting my shoes on a knock came from the front door, "I'll get it" I said, I opened the door to see bill standing outside, "H-Hi Mollie, wow you look b-b-beautiful" he said in awe, "Why thank you, you look handsome yourself" I smiled, "A-Are you ready to go?" He asked, "Yeah, I just need to say goodbye to my mom" I said, "Bye mom" I called to her, as she was in the kitchen, "Bye sweetie have a good time and don't be home to late" she responded, "I won't I promise" I said, then me and Bill walked to the theatre and got our tickets to watch the Batman movie. After the movie, we walked back to my house, hand in hand. "Thank you for tonight Bill I had a really amazing time" I said in a cheerful tone, "No p-problem I loved spending time with you tonight" he said with a smile on his face, "Me too, I wish this date didn't have to end so soon" I frowned a little at the thought of it. "Hey how about on F-Friday you come over to my place for dinner?" he said shyly "Sure, that would be great" I grinned, We then made to my house, "Tonight has been great" I blushed, "I know, I can't wait for the n-next date" I said as he rubbed his neck nervously, "Next date?" I asked with a flirtatious smile "That's if you want one" he smirked back, "Of course" I smiled, We looked into each others eyes for a few seconds then to my shock he leaned in and our lips crashed together, and moved to smooth rhythm. This felt right, I can't believe that my crush of two years is kissing me right now, am I dreaming? We both pulled away after a few seconds, both of us still gazing at one another. "Wow, I didn't expect that" I giggled, "S-Sorry if I caught you off guard" he chuckled, "No I enjoyed it" I smiled nervously, I gave him a peck on the lips, "I got to go inside my mom will probably be wondering how our date went" I laughed, "That's o-ok, goodnight Mollie" Bill said and leaned it to give me another kiss. Authors note: I wanted to leave this chapter on a little cliffhanger just to keep you all wondering haha. It took me forever to find a dress that personally felt suited Mollie as a character as Red is strong colour and Mollie is a strong character so I thought it would suit!
