Chapter 5

Mrs.Jang and Mr.Jang were very disappointed with Narae.

Mr.Jang asked sternly, "Where were you, Narae?

Mrs.Jang said, "It is now 8:00 pm, and you ended school at 4:00 pm; tell us the truth now, no lies or else you will be in more trouble than you are currently."

Narae replied, "I explored Seoul for a bit after I left KISS."

Mr.Jang said, "We are very disappointed with you."

Mrs.Jang said, "I got a phone call from Principal Lim, and she told me that you told lies about an
two international students at KISS."

Mr.Jang said, "Your older sister and older brothers know the definition of an international student, but you don't."

Mr.Jang asked, "What were you thinking, Narae?"

Mrs.Jang said, "When your father and I enrolled you in KISS, we expected 3 years from now, you would graduate there; instead, you got yourself expelled."

Narae stated, "I never liked KISS."

Mr.Jang said, "You will continue your education at Seoul High. I hope that you won't get yourself expelled from Seoul High."

Mrs.Jang said, "Narae, an international student means the student comes from a different country not every single country has 3 years of highschool like Korea."

Mr.Jang asked, "Narae were you that stupid not to know that not every single country has three years of highschool like Korea?"

Mrs.Jang said, "Some highschool system has 4 years."

Narae replied, "I am not stupid; I just hate international students."

Mrs.Jang said, "We didn't raise you like this."

Mr.Jang said, "Once you enroll in Seoul High, your mother and I expect you to treat international students nicely; if we receive one phone call about you spreading lies at your new school, you will get sent to live with your grandmother and grandfather in Busan."

Mrs.Jang asked, "Do you understand?"

Narae said, "I understand."

Mr.Jang said, "Good, now go to your room; you missed dinner tonight."

Narae said, "Fine, I will."

Mrs.Jang said, "Go now, Narae."

Narae went to her room; little did her parents know she bought a Korean corn dog while exploring Seoul, so technically Narae did have dinner when she was out earlier tonight.

Mrs.Jang and Mr.Jang started to search for when Seoul High would be open so they could enroll Narae there. The following morning at 8:00 am, Mr.Jang and Mrs.Jang went to Seoul High to register Narae. After enrolling Narae into Seoul High, they returned home to inform Narae.

Mr.Jang said. "Narae, come here, please."

Narae asked, "What do you need, Dad?"

Mr.Jang said, "Your mother and I enrolled you into Seoul High, and you will start there tomorrow."

Mrs.Jang said, "You will know your class schedule tomorrow."

Narae said, "Alright, Mom."

Mr.Jang said, "Go and have breakfast since you didn't have dinner last night."

Narae went to the kitchen to get her breakfast.
