"Hey guys so here it is the second day of recruiting and we assembled our girls team.", Cam told the camera. "Look at little Ms. Major over here", he continued as the camera was turned over to Leiana. She waved quickly and ran to the girls locker room to get ready.
"Alright girls today is the first day we play and we've gotta make it count. We are playing like we're in it to win it today.", Leiana told the girls. "Agreed", Fiona added. Leiana finished putting on the black compression shirt that was under her jersey as she slid her jersey on.
"Y'all ready for this?", Shaye asked everyone. "Yea!", everyone said in sync. Leiana came out of the locker room wanting to pop up in the video. "Nelson how many likes do we need on this video today?", Cam asked him.
Nelson draped his arm over Leiana's shoulder humming and rubbing his chin. "Lets go... 200K" "200K?" "Yea." "Wait! If we can get 200K I will kiss Nelson on live. If we dont make it to 200K Nelson and Cam will take me to Prada and Chanel", Leiana challenged with a smirk on her face. "Ooo cmon y'all we can't disappoint with this one", Cam told the camera. Nelson looked at Leiana with a 'Bet that up' look.
Leiana ran back into the locker room to her team who were stretching and preparing. "Let's make it count!", Frankie spread to the girls. The girls ran out the locker room full of cheers and small chats. Rylie grabbed a ball passing it to Lavar as they started playing on the court.
"And you say you don't like her", Lavar smirked. "Bro shut up.", Nelson rolled his eyes. "You didn't deny.", Lavar spinned back.
It were about 5 minutes before the game started. All of the girls were getting their last stretches in. Cam came up to the girls as he called for a team huddle.
"We're going off strong with a good start. Let's go Leiana, Yoko, Frankie, Scarlett, and Rylie. Rylie your starting the tip. ALRIGHT LEIANA LEAD US OFF.", Cam finished. "WHO ARE WE ON 3, WHO ARE WE ON 3, WHO ARE WE ON 3", Leiana cheered.
"1, 2, 3, WE ARE!", The girls finished off. The girls ran onto the court getting in position. Leiana took notice how Rylie let out a quick breath then set off the tip. The ball goes over to Yoko causing her to dribble it for a second and pass it to Leiana. Leiana did a quick ankle breaker and got in a layup.
The crowd started cheering and so did the girls. The girls passed by the bench as Lavar stuck his hand out for Leiana to dap. Leiana dapped him up before she quickly ran off with her team.
"Best motherfucking player for real.", Nelson told the camera."Real shit.", Lavar added.
After the first half Leiana was 25 points on they asses. She was now laying her head on Nelson's shoulder as he gave her water. "This bitch was all up on Nati and I'm just like damn back the fuck up", she laughed.
"For reall. If I had handled I would not have anymore playing time", Nati joined in. "Me personally I would've just took the warning and whooped her ass.",Nelson shrugged.
Cam came up to Leiana and Nati pointing to the court. "Put me back in coach cammyyy", Leiana sang. The ref blew the whistle as Leiana wiped fake sweat from her face.
Harmony set off the tip the ball bouncing to Leiana. Leiana was attempting to get a hook shot but she got pushed down falling on her ankle the wrong way. Her shot also was blocked by some girl who looked like she was in her 50's.
Leiana rubbed her ankles in pain using her elbows to get the upper-half of her body elevated. Cam, Nelson, Jordan, and Lavar came over to her helping her trying to get up. "Hey, Lei you can do it cmon.", Nelson encouraged her.
Leiana slowly stood up with help of Jordan and Lavar as tears brimmed at her eyes but she pushed them back. She was not gonna cry in public. At least not now. Leiana wrapped her arms around Nelson's neck as she limped back over to the bench.
"It's alright Lei. You did that 30 points and I'm proud of you. Frankie is going to take in for you.", Cam told her as she laid her head back in pain.
Cam's girlfriend began treating Leiana as Nelson rubbed the palms of Leiana's hand. When the game ended the score was 78-28. Damn that team sucked.
When they were back at home Leiana was getting full princess treatment from everyone. Lavar doing her laundry, Jordan getting her repeated snacks, Cam doing the dishes, and Nelson rubbing her ankle.
Leiana was relaxed. She loved her team and never wanted to change that.
