"To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die." he continued as he stare at her, as if he's swimming deeper into her.

They both laughed while passing the road as they almost got hit by a truck. Seems like it's some sort of entertainment that they both found funny. Or they're just distracting themselves from this destructive feeling of sadness after they had this conversation of saying goodbyes.

They are both insane indeed. Which is why they feel like they are much more compatible with each other. One has been craving the beauty of death, while the other couldn't care less about the meaning of life at all.

She suddenly wondered about destiny, if that was really true. Do souls really meet for a reason? Or is it just a coincidence that she lost her school papers that one afternoon and a strange guy messaged her if those papers he found on the public market was hers.

There it is. Her missing school papers to be passed with her portfolio requirements to complete before the semester ends.

She realized that things could've been different if some situations didn't happen. She never knew that he would be a sole part of her life. Never really expected that she would really want someone to stay. She's the type of person that will prove everyone she's strong enough, independent enough, and capable of not depending on someone emotionally.

"There's a light that never goes out." He's still staring at her.

"There's a light that never goes out." She sung the last lyric of the song as if it is her way of bidding her goodbyes.

"I'll wait for you." he's trying to keep a steady voice.

"Take care of yourself." She just stared at the crescent moon tattooed behind his ears as he walked away, finally going home after a long day of crying.

She helplessly drank the remaining alcohol in the bottle that she snatched from him because he couldn't even walk straight out of drunkenness.

Damn these stars and moon. The shimmering constellation from afar took her attention, as always. It is the Orion's Belt, and indeed a type of light that will never go out. It's as if the song stuck on their head corporates with the situation they are right now.

There is probably not a single time that she would look at the sky and not think of him. The idea pains her.

'She'll come back to me,' his brain keeps repeating this over and over as if it is trying to convince him just to cheer him up.

And yet, she did.
