Chapter 7

Marinette

Meanwhile, Marinette had just got home and transformed back into Marinette. She then just fell on her bed exhausted. Marinette groaned and put her hands over her eyes.

"I cannot believe Chat!" Marinette said frustrated, "Why can't he just trust me?!"

"He does!" Tikki said, "He just wants to know who his best friend is under the mask!" Marinette sat up and then looked away.

"I really wish I could tell him," Marinette started, "I want to... but."

"But what?" Tikki asked.

"We can't tell each other our identities until we recovered the butterfly miraculous." Marinette looked down when they heard a loud boom and they both looked out toward Marinette's window.

"Hey, Marinette!"

"Who are you!?" Marinette yelled. He then walked up to her and held out his hand. Marinette hesitantly but pulled back quickly.

"Who are you?" Marinette asked before she noticed the red hair covering half of his face, "Wait, NATHANIEL?!"

"I'm not Nathaniel anymore, I'm Lavenge!" Marinette just sat there until he tried to grab her but she quickly slapped his arm and he put his hand into a fist and blackish blueish particles were coming out.

"What is that?" Marinette said feeling frightened because she couldn't get away to transform. He then caught her off guard when he used his left hand to grab her jacket and punched her in the stomach. Marinette groaned and he let go of her jacket, and she fell to her bed and her hands went to her stomach.

"It'll start working in fifteen to twenty minutes give or take!" Lavenge said as he went in and tried to kiss her but she punched him in the face.

"You can't break me!" Marinette exclaimed.

"You'll see." Lavenge said as he stepped backward and jumped backward out the window and he was gone.

Marinette then got up to transform but felt a stab of pain in her head and fell down her ladder on her floor.

"Marinette are you okay??!" Tikki asked concerned, "Marinette?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine Tikki," Marinette said still holding her head and groaning, "TIKKI SPOTS ON!" Ladybug replaced Marinette and she swung out her window on Lavenge's tail using her yoyo.

When she was swinging she accidentally let go of her yoyo as she felt woozy and fell into a bush on the side of the road.

"What's going on?" Marinette said as she got up and looked terrified, "Ok, I need to find Nathaniel!" Ladybug then walked looking terrified following where she saw Nathaniel go. Ladybug was running while still looking terrified when she spotted Chat Noir fighting Lavenge aka Nathaniel.

"Chat Noir." Ladybug said as she was holding herself and Chat looked over to find her

"M'lady?" Chat asked concerned, "Are you alright?" Ladybug then fell to her knees.
"M'lady!" Chat then got down and caught her in his arms.

"That's what's up!" Lavenge said laughing as both Ladybug and Chat looked back at him.

Ladybug then got up and tried her best to ignore the feeling, Chat looked worried and then Ladybug and Chat smiled confidently to each before running off to fight Lavenge.

After Ladybug and Chat Noir destroyed the akumatized object, Ladybug caught the Akuma and released it.

"Bye bye little butterfly." Ladybug said. All she was left with now was her lucky charm which was a pocket watch. Ladybug still looked terrified.
