I sipped on my tea while Vaishu di continued talking.

"And then, he ate all of it! Like, can you believe that? That's how boyfriends treat their girlfriends now-a-days!" She said complaining about Abhi bhai.

"That might only be for that time, di. Now, you're his to-be wife. It's different now." I said defending Abhi bhai.

"Look who's saying that." The bitch opened her mouth.

"You're correct there, Jaan." Vaishu di said giggling.

"Hey Avi! After such a long time, no?" Anushka said coming down the staircase.

"Hey An-" yet again I was cut off.

"Jaanu! Tu bhi aayi hai?!" She said getting excited.

"Yupp!" And then they hugged each other.

I sipped on my tea again, knowing that this is a never ending saga.

"Where's Jai?" I asked Vaishu di.

"He went to meet Riyaz. And oh, I remember now...I want you to meet somebody."

I hummed as a reply, and then she continued,"He's Abhi's brother. I assume you never met him?" She said posing a question.

"Yeah." I said putting my cup back on the table.

"You will, then. He must be coming now."

"I told you we would be late!" Riyaz shouted from his car.

"Blah blah blah," Jai mocked him, "so stupid of you to even think that."

I rushed out afterwards and we drove off.

"By the way Riyaz, Avu has arrived." Jai said.

"Who?" I asked them.

"Vaishu di's sister. And where? At Vaishu di's home?" Riyaz asked turning his head to Jai, who was in the passenger seat. And as usual, they made me rot in the backseat.

"Yeah." He replied.

After everyone's constant talks about Vaishu Di's sister, I'm starting to get curious about her. Why does everyone keep talking about her? Like, is she an alien? Huh. Well, I am going to meet her today, anyways.

"Riyaz...Vaishu di would be expecting us to be there by 7:20...but we just sat in the car at 7:15!"

"Bro.."

"Yeah...."

"We're doomed."

"Bye everyone! I gotta go. There's a relative visiting at our house." Jaan said.

"Jaanu! Itni jaldi?" Anu said.

"Sorry Ann'. Those bitches start to get restless." Jaan replied.

Looks like someone just got a notification.

"Ummm Avi, they want to meet you too." Jaan said after checking her messages.

"Huff. Vaishu di, I'll go too. Will meet bhai's brother the next time." I said getting up and waved my hand at Vaishu di and then Anu.

"Bye Avu. Next time pakka, alright?" Vaishu di asked.
