Chapter 4

The morning sun streamed through the windows as Alisha and Samantha sat at the breakfast table, sipping their coffee. A sense of excitement and nostalgia filled the air as they both knew that this day held a special significance – the anniversary of the day they had confessed their love to each other.

Alisha couldn't help but smile, her heart brimming with affection for Samantha. "Can you believe it's already been 5years since that magical day?" she mused.

Samantha chuckled, reaching across the table to hold Alisha's hand. "Time has flown by, hasn't it? It feels like just yesterday, but at the same time, it's like I've known you forever."

Alisha's eyes softened, her heart fluttering at Samantha's words. "I feel the same way. From the moment we confessed our love, I knew you were the one for me."

Samantha's gaze was tender, filled with love. "And you're the one for me, too, Alisha. You've brought so much love and happiness into my life."

The fond memories of that day flooded their minds, the nerves, the vulnerability, and the immense joy they had felt when their feelings were finally laid bare.

"I remember how nervous I was," Alisha admitted, a blush gracing her cheeks. "I thought my heart was going to burst out of my chest when I told you how I felt."

Samantha's smile widened. "You were adorable, stumbling over your words. But it was the most beautiful confession I've ever received."

They shared a moment of affectionate laughter, cherishing the memories that had brought them even closer together.

"Do you have anything special planned for today?" Samantha asked curiously.

A mischievous glint appeared in Alisha's eyes. "Maybe I do, but it's a surprise. I want you to come home a bit early today, okay?"

Samantha raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the mystery. "Alright, you've got my curiosity piqued. I promise I'll be back as soon as I can."

With promises of surprises and love hanging in the air, they finished their breakfast and got ready for their respective workdays. As they headed out the door, they exchanged loving glances, knowing that the day held the promise of more cherished moments.

As Alisha and Samantha went about their day, their hearts were filled with anticipation. The anniversary held a special place in their hearts, and they both looked forward to the surprises that awaited them later that evening.
