Haven quietly closed the door as she came in from school. Her mother was asleep on the couch and she didn't want to wake her
She adjusted her bookbag on her back and carefully walked up the stairs, trying not to make any noise
" So you see me and just walk past me, youn got no manners" She heard her moms voice causing her to stop dead in her tracks
" I'm sorry mom, It looked like you were asleep... I mean you did have your eyes closed" She said turning around to look at her mom who was now sitting up in the couch
" Whatever idc, I'm not bouts to argue withchu today" her mother responded while sucking her teeth and walking off
Haven furrowed her eyebrows confused, but then shrugged her shoulders given that she didn't even care that much to question it
Her mother always had random attitudes with her for nothing, it's like she was bipolar. One minute she would be cool with Haven and then the next it's like Haven was her enemy
She truly didn't understand how a mom could treat her daughter like her enemy, but it was out of her control so she just had to accept it
Haven sighed while she continued walking to her room. She was gonna take a fat nap as soon as she laid her head down. This was a routine for her after school
When Haven got there, and Changed her clothes. She immediately turned the ac on and plopped into her bed, pulling her blankets over her
As she was about to doze off, she heard two notifications coming from her phone. She thought it was her grandma or another family member since she really didn't text anybody else
She turned and reached for her phone on the nightstand. When she looked, she saw it was an unsaved number causing her to be curious

Haven answered the call, putting her phone on speaker
" Whea you at folks? Put yo face in da camera" She heard his voice say
" Im trying to sleep Von" Haven chuckled while raising the phone so he could see her
Von observed her, her natural hair which went past her shoulder was straightened and in a middle part. She was smiling while she slightly raised herself from the first position she was laying in.
Everything about her was so beautiful to him. Her smile was the best part tho, it could brighten anybody's day
" Ion gaf about nunnadat folks, I said I wanted to see ya face" He said while smiling at her
He was in a wife beater with his o block chain on. He had a beanie on and his grills glistened as he smiled
" Anywaysss I'm bored, what'd you do today?" Haven asked to continue the conversation
